RACE ONE EARLY DOUBLE- 3-5 PICK-5 – 3 w 5 w 2,5,7 w 5,7,10 w 2,4,8 3-LATE NIGHT…very strong performance in last & now seems to be in even slightly easier. Is very fast when on his game. 1-DEE’S ROCKETMAN…post prevented early speed in last but still caught live cover & paced 3rd panel in :27—last ½ :55. 4-WILD BILL M…pulled on backside in last & dented quick quarter but faltered late. Might be in a tad easier this time.
RACE TWO 5-DE VALERIA…showed great speed leaving to nestle in but got shuffled back to an impossible spot. Showed late pace. 3-MY SWEET MANDY…showed good speed at both ends of the mile in last in a solid effort. Stays put in same class. Danger. 7-TAIL R SWIFT…zipped out of the gate from outside post in last then sat as others moved forward. Follows cover here.
RACE THREE 2-CLASSIC CARPET…been performing well on occasion in top class &, finally, gets some class relief to appetizing situation. 5-ASSET MANAGEMENT…showed strong pace final half mile, despite being double-bubbled final 5/16s. Sharp right now. 7-SEALARK HANOVER…brushed up strongly on backstretch and stick nose in front in the lane but out-brushed very late.
RACE FOUR PENTAFECTA – 5,7,10 w 5,7,10 w 5,7,10 w 1,4,8 w ALL 7-CHEAP N EASY…rugged mare likes to be in the thick of things from the get-go. Class dip probably the key here. Wires! 5-KAYLA’S DREAM…came from way out of it halfway through to circle the field and win going away. Recent form sharp. 10-PALM BEACH…should be well placed throught despite second tier as #1 seems to have gate speed. Catches live cover. 8-IRISH BRIDE…after slow start, paced final 3/4s in 1:25.1 in a strong effort finishing close. Loved last quarter brush-:28.3. 4-SUE’S YOUR DADDY…pulled under the wire first time and was grinding forward rest of the journey. Should be tighter.
RACE FIVE 2-DE VINS GIRL…has been bothered by posts last two starts. Dips in class, better draw. In a very amiable situation in here. 4-FASHION RUFFLES…pulled on the backstretch in last & showed strong pace 3rd quarter. Can rattle some cages in the lane. 8-GOLDSTAR ROCKETTE…post does hinder a bit but can catch live cover and “make” ticket with explosive finishing kick.
RACE SIX PICK-4- 1,2 w 1,5 w 1 w 2,6 2-ART FRENZY…went huge mile in last showing some gate speed & then a big rally in the lane to earn a tie. Better post! 1-ALWAYS DEE ONE…took advantage of hot early pace to roll by field after double-bubble move 5/16s out. Great form. 4-DEUCES FOR CHARITY…battled hard early to secure good position then out on backside battling again. Solid every week.
RACE SEVEN 5-LOVE LIVE LAUGH…Chicago invader may have been in a bit deep in first start here. Dips a bit. Can rattle cages late here. 1-DAPPLE APPLE…post hurt in last but did show backside pace (:27.3) before coasting when all was lost. Much better spot. 8-DIAMONDS PRINCESS…tries hard every race. Back down to spot where she was claimed. Turns on afterburners in lane.
RACE EIGHT 1-COLUMBIA LION…put in strong performance in last though no threat to the winner. Compares very well with this group. 5-BERKSHIRE…warrior pulled on the backside and dented third panel (his :29.2). Merits consideration off of recent form. 2-ITALIAN STALLION…has speed, yes, but manner have been a problem. Good qually so, hopefully, problems are solved.
RACE NINE LATE DOUBLE- 2-2, 6-2 6-ROCK N ROW…was in a bit deep in last but showed good gate speed. Could be on the engine to control festivities here. 2-NOUDIDNT BLUE CHIP…lightly raced youngster missed a couple of starts but seems to be learning his lessons very well. 7-POKERFACE…doesn’t win often but shows up high on board with regularity. On the choo-choo train when gate opens.
RACE TEN SUPER HI-5- 2 w 1,4,6 w 1,4,6 w 1,4,6 w ALL 2-BODACIOUS BECKY…found higher class too tough in last. Now dips back down to same class where she won in 1:53.4. 1-DELLA BEA…post didn’t help matters last start but she did show decent pace backside (:28.3) and decent closing kick. 6-MISS DOLLAR MAN…was away sluggishly in last but paced final 3/4s in 1:25.4 in showing strong pace entire last lap. 4-HEAD FIRST…was patient leaving—probably a bit too patient—and got shuffled before wending out & finishing w/pace. 5-ROCK GROUPIE…pulled on the backside and dented quick third panel giving nice hint. Coveted post five cannot hurt!
