6 Lika Me Blue is back in a $7,500 claimer after an allowance try … the 10YO won a marathon here last season. 3 Game Own gets a new rider for his second start of the meet … it’s been a while since this gelding has scored. 2 Mr Rubicon failed against allowance-level runners first out against winners … thus he is dropped in for a tag.

RACE 3

2 Columbia Crest has discovered “the Fountain of Youth” this season … the 10YO goes for his 3rd straight win. 5 Jmf Shes Inseperable beat $5,000 foes here on January 10 … she figures right in the thick of things again. 6 Beyondtheprize tumbles down the class ladder for his 3rd of the meet … maybe the drop will give him a shot.

RACE 4

2 Jf Royal Glory shortens up after a near miss at 440 yards … the mare definitely has “the speed to lead” this. 7 Pyc Flyer makes his third start of the meet … Delgado stays on and this one needs only a little improvement. 5 Ib Flyin hasn’t shown much in two starts this season … that said, the 3rd race in a form cycle is often better.

RACE 5

9 Chicolini runs now for Yoani Abreu, who will handle the Almanza horses … the gelding figures strongly here. 6 Secret Moon Landing probably needed her comebacker January 11 … she should be tighter this time around. 5 Eye Flingo had trouble in her first off a layoff on opening day … a clean trip will give her a big shot for the win.

RACE 6

7 Cme Leaving You got the better of A Phenomenal Chick in her 1/10 win … give her a shot to repeat that one. 8 A Phenomenal Chick had the lead, but didn’t seal the deal last out … she’ll be the one to catch again today. 2 Red Heiress has been off since a disastrous start last may in Oklahoma … she won two races here last meet.

RACE 7

2 Paint Your Zoe was competitive in two stakes tries after winning December 29 … count him right in this race. 1 Roger More stretches out after besting allowance-level foes at 250 … he hasn’t won at the classic 440 yards. 3 DeMille offered little in the Hialeah Maturity January 17 … that said, he did win a trial to make “the big dance.”

RACE 8

6 Lightning Sr figures to go better in her second start of the session … she’s another solid Kearl/Vallejo runner. 5 Wh Totally Shaken didn’t put up much fight in her January 16 comeback … maybe she goes better this time. 3 Miss First Dash is a 7YO who hasn’t threatened in her only 3 lifetime outings … she definitely fits this level.
