TO HAVE LIVE VIDEO AND WAGERING EXCLUSIVELY ON IDABET.COM
Â
Idabet.com will have exclusive live video and wagering of the AQHA’s Bank of America Racing Challenge races to be held at Les Bois Park in Boise, Idaho. The Challenge features the nation’s best quarter horses competing at tracks across the country for local championships and entry into the finals on September 27 at
Prairie Meadows Racetrack.
Last year’s Idaho’s series was held at Sandy Downs and this year will be contested at one of the fastest growing tracks in America at Les Bois Park beginning with the Adequan Derby Challenge Trials on Wednesday, June 20.
In Wednesday’s trials at 400 yards, the first division (7th race) is favored by Mesa Valley Farms “Fol Jesse†who was disqualified from victory in his three-year-old debut on June 12 at the Boise
oval. After breaking second, he led to the wire but lugged out in deep stretch and was placed second. All five of his previous races have been over the local surface with one win and three runnerup finishes.
“Rare Wave†with three scores over three tracks headlines the second trial (8th race) coming off a Les Bois win on May 19 by two lengths going 350 yards. Veteran trainer Bret Vickery sends out the Oklahoma-bred who has hit the board in 5 of 6 lifetime races.
Nikeela Black is in the irons of “Bux for Cocktail†in the 9th race, the third final after teaming up at the Jerome County Fair for a win on June 10.  The Jim Walker-owned filly has an impressive record of 5 wins in eight starts and was the favorite in her only start this year.
“Whata Corona Runner†is the morning line choice in the final race including a wire to wire romp on May 26 at Les Bois. The Utah-bred colt has been the favorite in his last three trips with two victories in two races this year.
In addition to the Adequan Derby Challenge, Les Bois Park will host the John Deere Juvenile Futurity Challenge for 2-year-olds at 350 yards, the Red Cell Challenge Finals for 3-year-olds at 870 yards and the
Les Bois Park Bonus Challenge for 3-and-up going 350 yards on July 6.
