7-SPIRIT SHADOW…youngster learning his lessons well and now ready to graduate from “K” to first grade. 3-DEE’S GOLDEN JOY…unexplained break turning for home in last troublesome but compares very well here. 2-P L INTOWIN…has had 20 chances to no avail but giving hints showing stout pace late. Needs fast pace.
RACE TWO
1-ZORGWIJK IMPACT…warrior is extremely sharp now. Look for gate speed, yield and quick re-take past 1/4. 6-ON THE TAB…is reliable for that good closing kick. Will be looking to follow live cover of of quick panels. 7-CELTIC MERCHANT…13 year-old has been consistent in this setting. Leaving & yielding for garden trip.
RACE THREE
1-MYSTICAL VALENTINE…been hot property lately. Pace in last just too quick to dent. Looks to control here. 6-CASCATA…took advantage of fast pace to pick up the marbles on the wire. Following live cover in here. 2-ST PETE STAR…warrior been fighting hard last few starts. Still has talent–not many 12 yo’s are claimed.
RACE FOUR PENTAFECTA- 1,3,8 w 1,3,8 w 1,3,8 w 2,4 w ALL
3-DIRTY DEVIL…not much on paper these days but dips again. Not driven hard late in last after all was lost. 1-RICK’S SIGN…don’t usually pick of non-winning QUA but missed that week & just staying tight. On ticket. 8-NEEDLES AND PINS…was outside looking in every step in last & still almost won. Can fly late of cover. 4-YUMA HANOVER…kind of drafted along in last during outrageous fractions. Could be leaving in this field. 2-BEIGNET…always seems to be in the hunt in his class. Probably on the engine securing good spot early.
RACE FIVE
1-GO JESSE GO…been very hot property lately. Steps up for protection but drew well & recent form compares. 9-MAGIC CHEQUE…loved that double bubble move into final turn denting quick 3rd panel in last. Cover flow. 4-MANDABRA…solid every week on the track. Out of Over The Hill into 10’s–which was were Dan got him.
RACE SIX PICK-4- 2,5 w ALL w 2,7 w 1,4,6
2-CHOCOLATE XPLOSION…post destroyed chances in last but did show some nice trot denting quick 3d qtr. 5-CHAPLIN HALL…in an impossible situation last time but trotted :28 backside quarter. Much better spot. 6-FRENCHMEN…fought very hard a long way in last. Prior, showed gate speed to get into fray early. On tkt.
RACE SEVEN
3-MACH IT PAIDEN…unleashed big rally in last to win. Current form cannot be ignored. Right back to w/c. 2-A FOOL FOR MARK…didn’t seem to relish the track condition (gd) in last. Can rattle cages of hot panels. 1-GOLDSTAR RAIDER…Florida bred hot property lately. Fought tooth & nail from final turn to the line in last.
RACE EIGHT
2-SKYWAY PIPPEN…like for couple reasons: 1) class dip; 2) big m”oo”ve in last 5/16s out; 3) can fly home late 7-BOLD STRIKE…takes double dip in class here. Gate speed can overcome post. Should be prominent in here. 3-PROUD MOMENT…recently claimed for “20” & now dips down two notches. Did fight hard against tougher.
RACE NINE
1-SHAMDEROCK…has couple of things going here: 1) class dip; 2) the rail; 3) good pace 3d qtr in last (:27.4). 6-MAMBO ITALIANO…was hung out to dry like wet laundry in last (1st 1/2 :54.3). Can rock late of live cover. 4-WESTERN TSUNAMI…very rugged warrior going after 70th lifetime win. Still can rattle cages when it counts.
RACE TEN LATE DOUBLE- 2-1, 2-3, 2-5
2-VICTORS COWBOY JOE…finally drew a decent post! Guess is he’ll be on the engine controlling festivities. 3-FLASHY LADY…mare in new hands for this. Can put her head down and dig hard of cover in the stretch. 9=YOU THE ONE…post does hinder at bit, yes, but has shown gate speed. Must use it here to get into fray.
RACE ELEVEN SUPER HI 5 – 1 w 3,5,7,8 w 3,5,6,7,8 w 3,5,6,7,8 w 3,5,6,7,8
1-OH MY JOEPA…was used EXTREMELY hard in last getting to the top & fought very hard. Rail is diference. 5-WHOYOUCALLINGAFOOL…warrior had good tightener in last showing nice backside pace (:27.4) On ticket. 3-ANDERLECHT…classy pacer reached back a couple of years and destroyed “5’s” with 1:52 mile. Steps up!! 7-MILLIONDOLLARTOUCH…pulled of very fast panels in last & went nowhere. Throwing out that clunker. 8-TWIN B FLIRT…stepped up over head in last & had 7 post, to boot. Can rattle cages of fast panels late.
