On Thursday afternoon Kyle Dibenedetto scored his 6000 win at Monticello Raceway, Kyle

notched the win with Simply Rockin. The son of Rockin Image made his Monticello Raceway

debut a winning one after recently competing at Northfield Park. The gelding won in wire to

wire fashion for Owner – Trainer Michael Weiner of Woodridge NY. Sent off at 1/5, he did not

disappoint the betting public as he was any easy 10 length winner in 2:01:2.

Back in November when Kyle was starting to get close to the milestone, the wins were spaced

far apart. A jubilant Dibenedetto said in the winners circle “my daughter was joking with me

when I was 15 shy of he milestone, she said Dad in the old days it would have only taken you 4 –

5 days to get 15 wins, now’s it’s takes 4 – 5 weeks!”

Kyle was welcomed to the winners circle by his fellow colleagues and well-wishers.
