Northfield Park Selections for Feb 23rd

Race 1: 1- Beer League – Draws the rail and gets the top-call to take tonight’s opener. 2- Broadway Bound – Was a winner last time out and could do well again tonight. 9- Muscle On Broadway – Should get a good trip from the second tier. 5- Pembroke Popeye – Could do well in here if he minds his manners.

Race 2: 5- MT Ur Pockets – Drops in class and looks to be the best in here. 3- Vacation Angel – Another class dropper that could do well in here. 7- IM – Could make the ticket despite the poor post draw. 4- Jestabrute – Could add some value to the exotics.

Race 3: 6- Fixthedeficit – Drops in class and should be successful at this level of competition. 9- Martin Hanover – Should get a good trip from the second tier. 2- Rock N Roll Star – Should not be overlooked as a potential competitor in here.

Race 4: 9- Screamin Dreamin – Draws into a race where several could win; this one gets the slight call over the others to get the job done. 4- CJ’s Super Secret – Could do well in here at decent odds. 7- Zorgwijk Mercedes – Could do well in here despite the poor post draw. 1- Blue Valley – Could be tough from the rail.

Race 5: 2- Mystical Bay – Was a winner last time out and could strike again tonight. 9- Flash’s Fool – Made the ticket in four of his last five races and could be right there again. 4- Kallista – Should not be overlooked as a potential competitor in here. 1- Cammilicious – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.

Race 6: 7- Watcha Got Abby – Won her most recent effort and could repeat that victory. 3- Fawn De J – Another that has a big shot in here. 4- Noah Count – Looks to be in the thick of the action. 6- Unlimited Winner – Could add value to the exotics.

Race 7: 6- The Northern Dude – Drops in class and looks to be successful at this level of competition. 3- Hustlinhannah – Has the ability to be prominently placed on this ticket. 1- Tory – Could make the ticket from the rail. 5- Crazed N Lindy – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.

Race 8: 6- Iwilldowhatido – Won his most recent effort and gets the top-call to score again to start tonight’s Pick 4. 2- King Richard – Made the ticket last time out and could be right there again tonight. 9- Mac’s Devil – Could add value from the second tier.

Race 9: 2- Durant – Could be successful upon coming to Northfield. 1- Love You Bad – Looks to be tough from the rail. 3- Jed Kidd Squaking – Made the ticket in all three of his most recent races and looks to be right there again tonight. 9- Utah Beach – Looks to be in the thick of the action.

Race 10: 3- Cactus Billy – Won his most recent effort and looks to score again. 4- Great American – Finished second last time out and could post a similar effort again tonight. 8- Dress The Part – Could make the ticket despite starting from the far outside. 1- Right On Time – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.

Race 11: 5- Wit And Wisdom – Draws into a race where several could win; this one gets the slight call over the others to get the job done. 8- Stevie Diamonds – Could do well in here despite the poor post draw. 4- Mystic Karissa – Should be fresh off a layoff and could do well right out of the box. 1- Take The Edge Off – Could do well from the rail.

Race 12: 1- Dreamy Fella – Has ready won five times this year and looks to score again. 2- Tossies Flash – Has been racing well and that trend looks to continue. 8- Shadow Me Themoney – Could make the ticket despite starting from the far outside. 6- Nashville Bound – Looks to be in the thick of the action.

Race 13: 2- Arsenal – Draws into an evenly matched field; this one gets the slight call over the others to get the job done. 5- Art Of Escape – Has two wins in a row but is facing tougher tonight. 1- Applejack Hanover – Could be tough from the rail. 9- T Red – Looks to be in the thick of the action from the second tier. 8- Bold Decision – Should be able to garner a minor share of the 20¢ Super High Five.
