Performed well in higher class. Gets in on NW8 clause. 5-POLITICAL FOE…always seems to try hard. Showed strong trot on backside in last. On ticket.
RACE TWO 5-MACHMEMACKIE…gave nice performance in 2016 debut showing gate speed & strong close. 6-ROADDOG JESS JAMES…not much on paper but liked double-bubble move 5/16s out. Rocks late. 7-Y S JOE…been solid in class last few starts. Will pick up live cover on the backside. Compares!
RACE THREE 4-MY REVENUER…won a couple of Open 1’s few weeks ago and finally gets some class relief. Cover flow trip. 3-WINDING HILL…went up in the air leaving in last. Has explosive brushing power when given room to roam. 5-SHE’S ALL IN…tough mare will be on the engine from coveted post 5. Been on the board against Open 1’s.
RACE FOUR PENTAFECTA- (Box) 1,2,3,4,7 1-AVIVAS WINNER…tough when minds manners as evidenced by last week’s wired win (1:55.3). 2-MANDABRA…post hindered in last but still noticed final 3/4s in 1:26.4. Move inside helps here. 3-JAILHOUSE JESSICA…qually very decent showing her coveted strong brush in the lane. On ticket. 7-TATER TWISTER…dips down from the Open 2’s after staying relatively close in sub-1:56 miles.
RACE FIVE 4-RICK’S SIGN…was hung out to dry like wet laundry in last. Look for confident quarter move here. 3-BEIGNET…former Open pacer still has dramatic closing kick in his bag of tricks. Will be flying! 2-BEACH BLAST…was used hard early on in last and had no ofense late. Owns one huge brush.
RACE SIX PICK-4- 2,4,6 w 4,5 w 1,2,7 w 1 4-CRAZY ABOUT PAT…initial start of 2016 season was outstanding. Should be ready to rumble. 6-DIAMOND DAGGER…mare can swallow lots of oxygen and will be on the move following cover. 2-POCKET TRIP…has great brushing power but must be used at right time to avoid being caught.
RACE SEVEN 4-CLIVE HANOVER…always solid in this class. Was closing stoutly in the lane last outing. Edge! 5-TIDEWATER TOMAHAWK…dips to the spot one notch above where he won handily wire-to-wire. 1-NORMANDY INVASION…speedball will be on his motorboat from the get-go. Can he carry it??
RACE EIGHT 7-GENIUS AT WORK…takes double dip in class too appetizing to ignore. His last 3/4s in 1:26.1 2-STRIKING IVY…rare form coming in on a roll. From a very sharp outfit batting well over .400. 1-BIG VALLEY SPEED…just did get up on strength of late surge in last. Very versatile w/the rail.
RACE NINE LATE DOUBLE- 1-1, 1-4, 1-6, 1-8 1-BLOODSTOCKSHALLTAB…post hampered in last. Dip in class plus the rail should equal the win. 3-CHINESE CUISINE…tried cutting the mustard in last in season debut but fast panels caught up! 2-GOLD SAVAGE…fought very hard every step in last & nailed last stride. Leaves & yields here.
RACE TEN SUPER HI-5- 1,6,8 w 1,6,8 w 1,6,8 w 4,5,7 w ALL 8-MODERN DAY CLYDE…gave nice hine in last with sharp m”oo”ve 3/8s out with pace to the line. 1-JET ER DONE…post has hampered last couple starts. Move to rail in this class should be help. 6-WALKING TALL…made very sharp double bubble move into final turn last start. Has gate speed! 4-STURGEON SEELSTER…was a termite entire mile in last and couldn’t dent that big :28 final panel. 7-R I P SPANKY…not much on paper but gave hint in last (slight) and could key nice Super Hi-5.
