Race 2: 1- Jed Kidd Squaking – Could score from the rail in this wide-open event. 3- Voltaire – Won his most recent effort and looks to be tough again. 2- JJ’s Doughnut – Could be tough upon coming to Northfield. 8- Heza Star Cruiser – Could grab a share of the action despite starting from the far outside.
Race 3: 2- St Elian’s Fire – Whitaker hands the lines to Wrenn and looks for results. 3- Alvarez – Looks to be tough in here if he minds his manners. 4- Big Package – Won his most recent effort and could be tough again tonight.
Race 4: 4- Major Bubbles N – Was a beaten favorite last time out but could prevail for his backers this time around. 6- Zoom On Romeo – Should be fresh off a layoff and could do well at first asking. 1- Milliron Pete – Looks to be tough from the rail. 5- Verbal Assault – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.
Race 5: 6- Fly Jesse Fly – Won two of his last three races and could strike again tonight. 4- Outburst – Finished second last time out and looks to be tough again. 7- Sandy’s Victory – Looks to be tough in here despite starting from the far outside. 1- One Direction – Is worthy of some consideration from the rail.
Race 6: 2- Ohio Larry – Won four of his last five races and could strike again tonight. 6- World Of Gaming – Another that looks to be tough in here. 1- Wilbur’s Z Tam – Looks to be a factor from the rail. 3- Crosswinds Dodger – One of several in here that figures as a legitimate contender.
Race 7: 5- Ray Hall – Was a winner two starts back and could strike again tonight. 7- Its A Horse – Looks to be tough in here if he minds his manners. 1- Gonnakissmeornot – Could do well upon coming to Northfield. 8- Absolutely Certain – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.
Race 8: 8- Captain Rhett – Has the ability to start the Pick 4 despite starting from the far outside. 3- Archetto Hanover – Finished second last time out and could post a similar effort again tonight. 2- Ubetterubetterubet – Draws well and should get a good trip.
Race 9: 6- Night Pro – Looks to be victorious upon coming to Northfield. 3- Stuckey Dote – Made the ticket in both of his most recent races and looks to be right there again tonight. 2- Americhi – Has been racing well but is moving up in class. 1- Crusoe Hanover – Could garner a piece of the action from the rail.
Race 10: 3- Headsaregonna Turn – Draws into a very competitive field; this one gets the slight call over the others to get the job done. 4- Wegoferdaprize – Looks to be coming back into form. 6- Gale Force Hanover – Drops a bit in class and looks to be solid in here. 1- Montana Skies – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.
Race 11: 8- Rock Out – Could pace home a winner despite starting from the far outside. 6- Celtic Prince – Another that could be tough in here. 5- Onefinejimmerjohn – Could be tough upon coming to Northfield. 4- Valiente Stride – Has two wins in a row, but is moving up in class.
Race 12: 1- Credit Creation – Could score from the rail if he minds his manners. 5- Kirty Dream – Another that has a big shot in here. 7- Impressive Chief – Could make the ticket despite starting from the far outside. 3- Jojo’s Journey – Looks to be in the thick of the action.
Race 13: 3- R Gauwitz Hanover – Was a winner last time out and could strike again tonight. 6- Gibbs – Won two starts back and could be tough again. 1- King Harvest – Could come up big from the rail. 7- This Baby Rocks – Looks to be in the thick of the action. 4- One Lucky Dragon – Could garner a minor share of the 20¢ Super High Five.

Race 15: 2- Classic Gent – Looks to be the one that captures the finale. 6- Strother – Drops in class and looks to be tough in here. 5- Forever Just – Yet another class dropper that could do well in here. 1- Artistic Director – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.
