Race 1: 3- Fort Commander – Draws into a race where several could win; this one gets the slight call over the others to take tonight’s opener. 4- Work That Magic – Looks to be tough in here if she minds her manners. 2- Christina Victory – Could be a factor with a clean effort. 7- Gonnakissmeornot – Should get a good trip from the second tier.

Race 2: 3- Striking Big Ben – Has been known to show speed against these before, and looks like he could be tough against this class again. 8- Classic Jesse– Looks to be tough at this level of competition. 4- Stoneborough – Gets a much better draw this week and if he can stay flat, he should be close. 6- Flyn’n Ellie – Could add value from mid-pack.

Race 3: 1- Uncle Dan – Another good draw tonight, not a lot of speed, but can close and pass horses late. 3- Up Front Corbin – Dropped to this class last time out and finished a game 3rd closing late, better post could spell success. 2- Soloist – Could be tough, coming to Northfield for the first time.

Race 4: 2- John L – Gets a better draw this week after a tough trip from post eight last out, look for more tonight. 1- It’s Saul Goode – Another with a big shot in here. 4- Selkirk Sapphire – Gets a good draw tonight and could be tough if she stays flat. 9- Gorgeous Mexico – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.

Race 5: 2- Hupomone – Is one of the more consistent claimers in the group this week, expect a big effort at a short price. 1- Step On It – Has the ability to be prominently placed on this ticket. 3- Henpecked – Should get a good trip from the inside post. 7- Learning Lindy – Could garner a minor share in here.

Race 6: 2- Jesse’s Secret – Draws well tonight after tiring late last week; expect her to be close to the pace again this week. 9- Bobby One Mile – Could step up and race well tonight; adds Lasix for the first time tonight. 4- Go Go George – Looks to be in the thick of the action from mid-pack. 5- Cinderellas Dress – Draws well this week off an inspiring qualifier.

Race 7: 4- Bettor And Bold – Draws into a race where several could win; this one gets the slight call over the others to get the job done. 2- Motor City Yankee – Drops in class and looks to have a big shot in here. 1- Off The Table – Should not be overlooked as a potential competitor in here. 6- BJ’s Bequia – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.

Race 8: 1- Village Beat – Showed some promise against easier company last out and should exhibit that speed again this week. 6- Rock Of Luck– Draws a little tough, but the drop in class could play to his favor. 7- Think Bigger – Could add value to the ticket.

Race 9: 5- Timeless Utah – Has been hitting the board a lot in 2017 after not racing in 2016, driver change back to Grismore. 9- Charming Cadet – Another that looks to be tough in here, adds Lasix for the first time. 3- Doctor Blizzard – Draws better this week and if he can stay flat, he could be a contender. 6- Major Count – Looks to be a factor in here.

Race 10: 3- Cyclops – Made up a ton of ground quickly in his last start, draw and driver change makes the difference. 9- Lex Lugar – Has hit the board in four of his last six races, drops in class to face easier company. 5- Noah’s Shark – Should get a good trip from mid-pack. 4- OK Galahad – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.

Race 11: 3- Ball Don’t Lie – Faced this group last time out and he didn’t get the best trip, going to give another try from post three. 8- Windusn Stetson – Has been racing well and that trend looks to continue. 2- Chance I Might – Looks to be tough in here if he minds his manners. 9- Gottatigerinmytank – Could garner a minor share despite starting from the second tier.

Race 12: 1- Lima Legend – Draws into a race where several could win; this one gets the slight call over the others to get the job done. 4- Skyflex – Another that has a big shot in here. 7- Bowdie De Vie – Could add value to the ticket. 3- Barryscourt – Looks to be in the thick of the action.

Race 13: 2- Deuces And Jacks – Knows his way around a half mile track and that should benefit him tonight. 6- Caviart Tyler – Second trip to Northfield could be a victorious one. 1- CJ’S Real Deal – Should not be overlooked as a potential competitor in here. 9- Burkes Bandit – Looks to be in the thick of the action. 3- Jimmy Rip – Could garner a minor share of the 20¢ Super High Five.

Race 14: 2- Mr Bankrupt – Adds Lasix for the first time tonight and could add value with post improvement. 1- The Grey Truth – Could be tough from the rail. 6- Olive To Win – Could add value to the ticket. 4- Alisha’s Big Star – Another that could add value in here.

Race 15: 7- Bob’s Ideal – Closed gamely last week, expect more of an effort tonight at a price. 3- Branded Gun– Could add value to the ticket. 1- Real Knock Out – Could make the ticket from the inside. 2- The Kop – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.
