2ND RACE – (3) GIRL CRUSH gets a fresh hands as Excelsior Express pulls into town. Offered big-track speed in last and surmise she’s gonna leave from here.

3RD RACE – (1) ACEFORTYFOURAMANDA was out of her comfort zone when sent out of gate. Ran before first turn, tries it off claim and stays at best level.

4TH RACE – (1) ABBIE HALL is, in immortal words of noted tout Popeye, ‘She am what she am.’ Has made her living against higher-end Excelsiors, stays.

5TH RACE – (6) MACHIAVELLI slips down to bottom feeders trying to see if the ends justify the means. Eastern precincts noticed a bit of trip trouble in latest.

7TH RACE – (4) RANSOM DEMAND upset last couple at this level at beefy mutuels, her only board finishes of season. Goes back down ladder here so, duh…?

8TH RACE – (2) TRIBUTE TO SEVEN gets nod to upset in third/final event of NYSS Mike Cipriani Trot. Needs to stalk last season’s pole-sitting frosh champ.

9TH RACE – (3) NAUGHTY MARAVU N may be a seasonal 0-fer, lass did outrace odds in last despite impediments. Fast math has this field 6-for-156 in ’18.

11TH RACE – (2) D G’S ELSA is one of our faves from WABAC Machine. Class dip and moving inside half-dozen places have us pining for nostalgia in here.
