#1 Ace Talent dips in grade and it wouldn’t shock to see him return to form. He races well at Happy Valley and rates strongly for trainer Caspar Fownes. #3 Mr Good Vibes is another who makes the class-drop. He can put his best foot forward here from an ideal draw with an in-form Brenton Avdulla up. #4 Happy Tango is chasing back-to-back wins. He’ll roll forward and get his opportunity. #10 Great Days is yet to win, however, he has gone close a number of times. He’s favoured under Zac Purton. Keep safe.

Race 2: Cheung Chau Handicap (2nd Section)

#3 Beauty Infinity has the scope to keep improving and he comes from the right stable. He’ll take a bit of catching here, as long as he can handle the class-rise. #4 Nicconi County won well two runs back and he has remained...

The inside gate is ideal he can easily turn his form around. #6 Nordic Combined can mix his form but with even luck rates strongly, especially with Zac Purton up. He’ll be coming home hard and fast. #1 Rattan World is a winner in this grade. He can save ground throughout from the inside gate. #8 General Ace is seeking back-to-back wins. He gets his chance.

1 Jazz Club gets down to Class 5. He was racing well in the grade above and has a clear class-edge over this group. One to beat. #8 Charming Steed is on the quick back-up after finishing third last Sunday. He’s been in solid form of late and is worth keeping very safe this week. #4 Big Two can mix his form but has done his best racing over this course and distance.
