6TH RACE – (2) SUMATRA did not respond to four-eyeball in last, leading to lane before tiring. We’re nothing if not obstinate, so we try again at same level.
9TH RACE – (6) LACHIE MAGUIRE N chased a runaway upstate in latest, settling for second as fave. May not work here, but last local try wasn’t that poor.
10TH RACE – (2) CONTROL TOWER did miss nearly three weeks going from Northfield to Philly. Catches intriguing group and gets slight stab in finale....
