He draws well and should get every chance for Matthew Chadwick and Me Tsui. #8 Day Day Rich is so close to a first win. Expect he rolls forward and takes a bit of running down under Lyle Hewitson, who in Hong Kong, has garnered a reputation aboard front-runners. #12 Raging Blaze gets a handy pull at the bottom of the handicap. Strong booking of Zac Purton could see the gelding’s consistency be rewarded. #6 Whiskey Neat steps away from an ideal draw. He’s next best.

Race 2: Ventris Handicap

1 Victorious Seeker gets into Class 5. This is a suitable dip in grade, especially as a winner in Class 4 earlier this season. Strong booking of Zac Purton is ideal and the distance is of no concern. #4 Diamond Star is nothing short of consistent. He’s had a fair share of runs this term but his fitness has maintained throughout. #6 Sky Gem could well take a chance at a mid-race move here, as he has done in the past. Handy five pound claim from Alfred Chan has him favoured. #9 Fortune Triple has claims....

7 Lucky Ruby should roll forward and pressure for the lead. Expect he finds it with his speed and from there he could take a power of running down, especially under the in-form Matthew Chadwick. #9 Wisdom Patch mixes his form but has shown plenty of prowess on the dirt.
