3RD RACE – (1) SIR PUGSLEY did not disgrace himself last couple despite no-shot trips. Surmise he won’t be chasing this time around against suspect crowd.

6TH RACE – (1) GREAT VINTAGE offers no mystery in week’s adult pace. Can outleave foes after winning 1-thru-5 draw, taken to take these as far as he can.

9TH RACE – (4) DREAM OF LUCK was nothing more than seat fill in age-restricted event. Gets rid of those, gets rare useful draw at max competence level.

10TH RACE – (6) MISTER DAYTONA N has been sporadic selection here with minimal results. Soft quintet inside, so perhaps he takes shot in spongy finale....

Today’s “Lock” is at Batavia Raceway on race 1 with the -#1-Barn Winner-Will be a winner tonight for driver Ray Fisher Jr. Last Lock won again.  Howard’s  record now stands at: Record now stands at: 305 of 494 wins with 93 seconds and 27 thirds.

2ND RACE – (2) WILD AGAIN has poor win profile, as in 5-for-64 over last couple of years. However, opposes equally weak-willed group here, gaze off claim.  

4TH RACE – (1) RURAL ART is an ‘if ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ selection, as in prevailing first-up from pole at this level in last. Does not need to protect pocket.

6TH RACE – (1) MACH IT A PAR found a generous seat in the inner half of distaff derby. Winning 1-thru-3 draw adds to that largesse, taken to take advantage.

7TH RACE – (9) FEEL THE NEED A was overmatched as a ‘40’ in last pair, now returns to best level. Catches a competitive gang, intriguing from back of bus.  

9TH RACE – (6) CHECKERED PAST is ending her soph season looking for place to race. Outrun against notch higher in local return, does finale class dip fit?
