Yonkers Sneak Peek For Saturday, March 25, 2017

IdaBet is pleased to offer our players some insight and a sneak peek at the card for Yonkers

SATURDAY, MARCH 25 – by Frank Drucker -Publicity Director, Empire City @ Yonkers Raceway

1 ST RACE – (2) HOLY GRAIL N caught our attention with sharp qualifier in

preparation for U-S purse debut. Board-certified in 30-of- 47 Down Under tries, so

we nod at first stateside asking.

2 ND RACE – (6) DEWYCOLORINTHELINE was four-eyeballed in latest,

only to have no room until issue was over. Switch to Tetrick figures to take few

points off the tote board, but ol’ Yonkers Trot winner never cheats in effort.

3 RD RACE – (5) UF ROCKIN’ DRAGON goes second off layoff after what

should have been very useful seasonal tightener. Lots of holes either side of this

one, thud endorsed this time around.

6 TH RACE – (5) DR. J HANOVER may or may not be the goods for the

Levy Series, but after two outer posts/no-chance trips to start his 4-year- old season,

should at least be heard from at some point tonight’s Round 2/Division 1.

10 TH RACE – (2) ARTISTIC MAJOR, same as the Good Doctor from

previous endorsement, had no shot in each of last couple. Has done too much good

work over this oval to ignore with this sort of post relief in series’ final division.

11 TH RACE – (4) RED HOT HERBIE wins 4-thru 8 draw for weekly trotting

feature and is taken to repeat, surmising from midfield he should have no issue

getting put in play versus these.

— — —

$2 +/- (thru Tue., Mar. 21) – 77 wins ($543.20) from 337 ($674) selex (-$130.80)

highest-priced winner – LONG LIVE ROCK ($38.60)

lowest-priced winner – REGIL ELEKTRA ($2.40)
