Northfield Track Announcer Ayers Ratliff’s free handicapping tips are provided for our IdaBet.com players.
Remember, due to their draw schedule, picks are made in advance and do not account for scratches or late driver changes.

SATURDAY EVENING, MAY 18

Race 1: 4- Myeyesadoreya N – Drops in class and looks to start the Daily Double. 1- Princess Dalia – Should be tough from the rail. 2- Come What May –
Could make the ticket upon returning to Northfield. 7- Dakota Sleek – Could add value to the exotics.

Race 2: 2- Nutmegs Yankee – Was a winner last time out and could roll again to start tonight’s Pick 5. 4- Bourbon And Barley – Made the ticket in three of
her last four races and should be right there again. 1- Tammysmist – Could make the ticket from the rail.

Race 3: 5- Designed To See – Won her sophomore debut and could score again in her return effort. 4- Dealmaker Hanover – Made the ticket in both of her
last two races and looks to be right there again tonight. 7- Mach The Rock – Looks to be a factor upon coming to Northfield. 1- Deo’s Perfectsound – Could
add value to the exotics.

Race 4: 5- My Fleet Three – Just missed last time out; may not miss tonight. 8- Becks Wood Place – Could do well in here despite starting from the far
outside. 1- Amazing Graciejane – Looks to make the ticket from the rail. 7- Dixie Lullaby – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.

Race 5: 5- Timeless Utah – Draws into a race where several could win; this one could trot home a winner with the right trip. 1- Emerald Chip – Looks to be
tough from the rail. 2- Graceful Jarmbro – Should not be overlooked as a real threat in here. 4- I’ll Have Another – Yet another worthy of due consideration.

Race 6: 5- Caribbean Moon – Draws into a highly competitive field; this one gets a slight...

Yonkers Peek At Program- Saturday, May 18th

Some insights into tonight’s racing program
(if seeing this before Preakness, we’ve returned to Win Win Win…so there).
1 ST RACE – (4) WINSTON was snapped at wire in added-distance try when
four-eyeballed week ago. Surmise again forwardly-placed, stay in flat-mile opener.
2 ND RACE – (3) HOT DEUCE returns here at lesser level that’s well within
his margin of error. Can leave gate and would imagine fresh set of hands does that.
3 RD RACE – (3) MI NINA BONITA was unwise to duck in her division of
Reynolds last week, then offered belated pace. Take shot in first elim of Lismore.
4 TH RACE – (6) BUGSY MAGUIRE was out the mile in each of last couple,
winning battle but losing war week ago. Can’t possible get any more brutal, can it?
7 TH RACE – (7) IN SECRET figures to leave despite the impost in watered-
down trot feature. If not that much grief getting surmised lead, nod to handle these.
8 TH RACE – (10) WIND BLAST tuned in solid, local-debut effort this level
two starts ago. Slips down to that class again and gets endorsed from back of bus.
12 TH RACE – (8) OUR MAX PHACTOR N probably confirms we’re loyal
to a fault. Chased a solid number in last and gonna have do more chasing in finale.

$2 +/- (thru Tue., May 14) – 107 wins ($653.70)

from 536 ($1,072) selex (-$418.30, a small price to pay for fresh daily content)

highest-priced winner – MALNIFICENT ($24)
lowest-priced winner – SHEBANG N ($2.20)

Yonkers Peek At Program- Friday, May 17th

Some insights into tonight’s racing program for our IdaBet players:
(remember, it’s Preakness Day tomorrow, first Pimlico post @ 10:30 AM
and we’re going to well again with Win Win Win…so there, there, there).

1 ST RACE – (4) SOMETIME’SAWINNER could not hack it chasing a swift
Pocono mile in last. If didn’t get starch taken out of him, goes with these claimers.

2 ND RACE – (5) CHACHING HANOVER has been runner-up in half of his
last six tries. His last effort quite good, pocket into quickie mile, same venue here.

4 TH RACE – (1) CLEAR IDEA was a ‘peeked’ winner in last from an antsy
pocket, now goes back up the ladder. Would not be a great surprise winning draw.

5 TH RACE – (8) GUNPOWDER N is a proven number at this level, winning
off class dip some six weeks ago. Layoff plus struck behind eight-ball mean value.

6 TH RACE – (1) DELIGHTFULMEMPHISN is difficult to ignore winning a
1-thru-6 in week’s distaff derby. Did disappoint in Matchmaker, lass is no slouch.

10 TH RACE – (1) TACT TATE N earns a third consecutive gaze, surmising
there’s something there to work this level. Thus, put up or shut up time from pole.

$2 +/- (thru Tue., May 14) – 107 wins ($653.70)
from 536 ($1,072) selex (-$418.30, plan to get even in Preakness)

highest-priced winner – MALNIFICENT ($24)
lowest-priced winner – SHEBANG N ($2.20)
