Yonkers Peek At Program- Thursday, April 25th

Some insights into tonight’s racing program at IdaBet.com

4 TH RACE – (5) TAKE A WISH was fringe participant in Bonus Trot Series,
one of trio exiting that event. Stays at it every start, could be the formula to prevail.

6 TH RACE – (1) MORE THAN MANY could not ask for a spongier array of
rivals this level. Wins draw, can leave gate and need not be whole lot to work here.

7 TH RACE – (3) FANTICIPATION was goin’ nowhere when jumping it off
in last, hardly words to live by. That said, worth a shot trying it as a bottom-feeder.

9 TH RACE – (1) VOSS VOLO was ineligible for Bonus Trot Series by a few
dollars and couldn’t reach across river. Winless in dozen this season, but not reach.

10 TH RACE – (3) TWOMACSONESHADOW is number we’ve tried before,
and since he’s 0-for-12, you figure out the rest. We’re not dissuaded against these.

$2 +/- (thru Mon., Apr. 22) – 82 wins ($499.60)
from 439 ($878) selex (-$378.40, now in resealable pouch)
highest-priced winner – MALNIFICENT ($24)
lowest-priced winner – CHESTNUT SCHOFIELD ($2.30)

YONKERS’ THURSDAY PICK 5 FEATURES $6,700 CARRYOVER, 20G GUARANTEE

A friendly reminder from Yonkers Raceway that Thursday evening’s (Apr. 25th) Pick 5 wager starts with a carryover of $6,712.86 and a $20,000 guaranteed pool. The guarantee is in conjunction with the U.S. Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program.

The Pick 5 is a 50-cent base wager comprising races 6 through 10 Thursday night. It has no consolation payoff, meaning if no one selects all five winners (as was the case Tuesday night), the entire pool (minus takeout) moves to the next racing program.

Thursday’s Pick 5 program pages accompany this release.
