Four weeks to the night of Yonkers Raceway’s first million-dollar night of 2019, the Raceway sashayed over seven figures once again. Monday night’s (March 4^th) dozen-race card sawtotal wagering of $1,001,439.

Catch an Ace (Jason Bartlett, $2.90) tagged Pelican Blue Chip (Dan Dube) in 1:55.2, the fastest of four, $20,000 divisions in the opening round of the Petticoat Pacing Series for 3- and 4-year-old young ladies. The winner, a 4-year-old daughter of Bettor’s Delight, is now 4-for-6 this season and 13-for-23 in her career.  

The boys take their turn Tuesday night (March 5^th), with four, $20,000 events of their own in the beginning of the Sagamore Hill Pacing Series.

A season-debuting Queenace Blue Chip (Mark MacDonald) closed from seventh off the final turn, winning the $13,000, fifth-race pace (1:57.3) at a tidy 60-1. The $123.50 mutuel led exotics of $639 (exacta), $3,549 (triple) and $5,562 (superfecta).

Race 1: 4- Cruzen Cassi – Looks to be successful upon coming to Northfield. 3- Pay The Winner – Made the ticket in four of his last five races and
looks to be right there again tonight. 6- Pointblank Hanover – Should not be overlooked as a solid contender in here. 1- At My Request – Looks to be
in the thick of the action if he minds his manners.

Race 2: 5- Dance Life Well – Won two of his last three races and could strike again tonight to start the Pick 5. 4- Trillionair – Won his most recent
effort and could be tough again tonight. 3- Ima Ironman – Should not be overlooked as a solid contender.

Race 3: 1- Beach Shootingstar – Has three wins in a row and could keep the streak alive. 4- Citizen Kane – Was a winner last time out and looks to
be tough again. 8- Ilikethemtrashy – Could make the ticket despite starting from the far outside. 3- Lodi Machette Man – Looks to be in the thick of
the action.

Race 4: 4- Island Jet – Drops in class and could be successful at this level of competition. 2- Neat – Another class dropper that looks to be tough in
here. 8- Zone Blitz – Could add value to the ticket despite starting from the far outside. 1- Concur – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete
the Superfecta.

Race 5: 2- Uncle Reimus – Scored in his most recent effort and could repeat tonight. 1- Prairie Jaguar – Looks to be very tough from the rail. 7- On
The Virg – Could make the ticket despite the poor post draw. 4- Chocolate Crackers – Should not be overlooked as a solid contender in here.

Race 6: 9- Youda Shark – Could step up and be successful in here. 2- Sometimes Always – Was a winner two starts back and could be tough again
tonight. 1- Calvin K – Could make the ticket from the rail. 3- Juxlivin My Dream – Was a winner last time out but faces tougher foes this...
