Yonkers Peek At Program- Sunday, December 17

Some insights into this morning’s final racing program of the season

(…and a Merry/Happy to everyone out there. The 2018 calendar gets

underway Sunday, Jan. 7th, giving us three weeks to delouse the slate).

3RD RACE – (2) FLAGSTAFF has had his moments, though last effort from back of bus wasn’t one of them. Has won at this level, gets best ‘getaway’ in while.

4TH RACE – (3) THEARTOFCONFUSION A returns from Philly and slides into useful locale. Surmise he’s better than foes, four-eyeballed in day’s lone pace.

6TH RACE – (4) CASH ME OUT is apropos name for last go-round of 2017. Last seen locally in International Trot day invite, and these foes are not those foes.

7TH RACE – (4) NOBLE WARRAWEE has been saddled by outer/second- tier trips of late. This may be too high for him, but now has legitimate shot to see.

8TH RACE – (5) PATTON arrives here for third try off barn change. First couple at Pocono decent enough and gets fresh set of competent hands this time.

9TH RACE – (8) ELYSIUM LINDY makes his new-barn bow here. Gazed upon of late and continues drawing poorly, but solid, two-move second in latest.

——

$2 +/- (thru Tue., Dec. 12) – 322 wins [inc. 2 dead-heats] ($2,404.50)

from 1,473 ($2,946) selex (-$541.50, making the parents proud)

highest-priced winner – GYPSY LEATHER ($57.50)

lowest-priced winner – GREAT VINTAGE/FUNKNWAFFLES ($2.20 each)
