SINGLE TICKET PICK SIX JACKPOT CARRYOVER INTO SATURDAY OF $322,036
ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 13, 2017)—With double digit pari-mutuel winners in races four, five, six and seven, no one had all six winners in Friday’s Santa Anita Pick Six, creating a carryover of $75,117 into Saturday and the likelihood of a total Pick Six pool on Saturday of more than $500,000.
In addition to the regular carryover, there is also a Single Ticket Pick Six Jackpot carryover into Saturday of $322,036.
With 68 horses entered and 66 eligible to run in Saturday’s Pick Six sequence, punters will be treated to an average of 11 horses per race, with the Pick Six comprised of races four through nine.
Carded as the sixth race, Saturday’s main event is the $100,000 California Distaff Handicap for fillies and mares three and up at 6 ½ furlongs down Santa Anita’s hillside turf course. Trainer Jeff Bonde’s Miss Sunset has been installed as the morning line favorite in a field of nine at 2-1, with Gary Stevens up.
