Yonkers Cancels Tuesday Racing March 13, 2017

Good day everyone!  Due to the expected snow storm, Yonkers has cancelled its live card for Tuesday, March 14th.  This looks like a major storm that will effect most of the Eastern coast, be safe out there.

YONKERS CANCELS TUESDAY LIVE RACING, ALL SIMULCASTING

Due to the impending late-winter snowstorm (oh, joy), Yonkers Raceway has cancelled its racing program for Tuesday, March 14. It’s the second cancellation of the season.

Live racing (with evening simulcasting) is scheduled to resume Thursday night (March 16), with afternoon simulcasting scheduled for Wednesday (March 15, Happy Ides of March). Post time for the live Thursday card is 7:10 PM, as usual.

Tuesday’s cancellation wipes out the second of three preliminary rounds of the Sagamore Hill Pacing Series. By condition, this round is not rescheduled. The third (final) prelim round goes next Tuesday, March 21.

Horsemen should note that the double-draw for Sunday and Monday (March 19 and 20) takes place Wednesday(March 15), with the entry box closing at 9 AM sharp.  For any questions, contact the race office at (914) 457-2627.
