Prior effort she broke well, settled early, -12 lengths mid-backside (chasing the lone speed runner), -17 lengths near the far turn (21.70 opening quarter), lacked a rally down the lane at 6 ½ furlongs vs. tougher rivals. Class dropper fits much better in this spot and will relish the shorter distance.

 

PARKER’S DREAMGIRL (Santa Anita) broke well, chased the dueling pair mid-backside (-6 lengths), -10 lengths near the far turn (22.02 opening quarter), lacked the needed response mid-final turn vs. tougher rivals. Formerly trained by J Cortez. She fits much better on the class drop.

Prior effort (17.05) he broke -1/2 length slow, wide path, raced -3/4 length past the gap, leveled midway, railed to the front past the 1/16 pole, held strong vs. maidens. 3-back he broke off balance, swerved in at the start, losing -1 ½ length, rallied strong too late (should have won). Class dropper will relish the longer distance (350 yards).

 

CHOWCHILLA STELTH (17.05) broke -3/4 length slow, raced -1 length past the gap, traveled evenly thru the final ½ (running behind horses) vs. tougher rivals.
