Race 1: 6- Pinkpolosocks – Draws into a race where several could win; this one gets the slight call over the others to take tonight’s opener. 1-Champagne Shower – Looks to be tough in here if she minds her manners. 3- Rolling Going Gone – Could be a factor with a clean effort. 2- Ella Rose – Gets a good draw on the inside and has been known to hit the board before.
Race 2: 2- Steph’s Place – Draws the inside tonight and is in first off, the claim for trainer Brian Loney. 6- Wake N Bake- Looks to be tough at this level of competition. 3- Miss Explosion – Hard to tell what kind of trip she got last week, she is consistently in the money and should not be overlooked. 4- Good Roberta – Could add value from mid-pack.
Race 3: 2- Big Bad Ashley– Draws well for the first time in recent weeks, expect a strong effort off the inside. 5- Desire’s LadyFaces this group again tonight after a tough effort against this class last out, got roughed up there and could be strong. 3- Pretty Sammie – Drops in class to face easier company this week, definitely could be a play.
Race 4: 2- Chrome Seelster – Gets a good draw for the first time in a while, could show up off the inside at a price. 4- Hare Craft – Another with a big shot in here. 1- Bursting Blaze – Faces easier company tonight and that should play to his advantage, expect a big price off the rail. 8- Wanderer – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.
Race 5: 1- Slight Touch – Qualified well and the first start off the layoff against tougher was not the greatest, give the call to him off the rail. 7- Forever Just – Has the ability to be prominently placed on this ticket. 2- Firm It Up – Should get a good trip from the inside post. 5- Ocaptain Mycaptain – Could garner a minor share in here.
Race 6: 4- Amazing Graciejane – Drops down in class this week to face easier company, has been competitive against these before. 5- Bruisers Sister – Could step up and race well tonight. 7- De Vins Girl – Looks to be in the thick of the action from the outside. 2- Slickest Dream – Could be in the thick of the action from a game post on the inside.
Race 7: 1- Lady Gisele – Draws into a race where several could win; this one gets the slight call over the others to get the job done. 4- Paisley Skye – Has a good amount of speed and should pressure the pace early on. 2- Robocall Hanover – Should not be overlooked as a potential competitor in here. 5- Durable – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.
Race 8: 4- Lease Ness Monster – She has a good amount of early speed and has been very consistent against Open company, this could be the night at price. 3- Tiger’s Sue – Has won five straight races and has handled class jumps very well, the streak could continue here. 8- Godiva Seelster – Could add value to the ticket.
Race 9: 2- Miss M A Jones– Comes to Northfield for the first time and gets some post improvement this week that should play to her advantage. 1- Mcmaedle – Another that looks to be tough in here. 4- Miss Two Punch – Has been racing well and that trend should continue. 6- Hickory Big Black – Looks to be a factor in here.
Race 10: 5- Audrey Anna – Showed speed against tough company last time out and lasted strongly, steps up tonight and should race well. 1- St Lads Maggie Mae – Was parked the mile last time out and finished a game 3rd just missing by a length, watch out for her tonight. 2- Here Comes Harlee – Should get a good trip from the inside. 3- Buckeye Thea – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.
Race 11: 2- Ruler’s Best – Facing easier company from the inside tonight, draw was very kind to her and the price could be right. 1- Tomei Seelster – Has been racing well and that trend looks to continue. 5- Little Santamonica– Draws a little better this week and faces much easier company, expect a big effort. 7- Rockin Kasbah – Could garner a minor share despite starting from the outside.
Race 12: 5- Stirling Cordelia – Draws into a race where several could win; this one gets the slight call over the others to get the job done. 1- Cutie Palone – Another that has a big shot in here. 2- Thrill Chaser – Could add value to the ticket. 8- Playmate Interlude – Looks to be in the thick of the action.
Race 13: 3- Nirvana Gear– Moved up to this class two starts back and has gotten a couple of tough trips, hoping for a better effort this week. 2- Mickey Blu – Raced well in her first start at Northfield last time out and I would expect her to be close to the pace again. 5- Eloquent Velocity – Should not be overlooked as a potential competitor in here. 4- Stephie Clay – Looks to be in the thick of the action. 1- When In Doubt – Could garner a minor share of the 20¢ Super High Five.
Race 14: 2- Excelant Chance – She has won 5 of her last six starts and lost the one start by a nose; she will be a short price this week, but should dominate. 4- Official Treasure – Could be tough from mid-pack. 3- Crazy Bad K – Could add value to the ticket. 6- C G Satin – Another that could add value in here.
Race 15: 1- Feelin Lilly – Was a strong winner last time out having to come three wide around the final turn, I would expect better off the rail. 2- Wuzzup Tonight – Could add value to the ticket. 4- Lillian Road – One of the more consistent horses in the group tonight and that trend should continue tonight. 7- Marmaria – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.
