5^TH RACE – (5) WILD AGAIN offered an eight-hole leave in latest, only to get hung for his trouble. Surmise put in play again with inside foes not scaring him.

6^TH RACE – (3) LAUXMONT CAPRI is returning from mountains for first since last October. Starts inside what he figures to have to beat, worthwhile visit?

7^TH RACE – (3) JACLYN HANOVER offered some late pace from behind eight-ball in nine-horse field. Guaranteed shorter route here, so gazed accordingly.

8^TH RACE – (5) ACTING OUT is a popular endorsee, since haven’t gauged him. Chased quick mile as beaten fave, winner prior when race came back to him.

9^TH RACE – (4) GLENFERIE BRONTE N was second-tier ‘peek’ in a local return, stuck behind dullard and finishing credible third. Nothing dissuades us now.
