2 Samanthachoice improved in her second lifetime start … the 5YO mare might be able to win this time around. 10 El Lovo finished behind Samanthchoice in that January 18 heat … note that “the money man” takes the call. 6 Lenas Boogie Blues makes her third start of the session … could be a matter of “the third time’s the charm.”

RACE 3

6 Lethal Dynasty drops in for a tag after a no-threat comebacker a month ago … maybe he rebounds in this. 1 Sum Special Stuff missed the cut in the Hialeah Derby trials … his trainer/jockey duo is tops in these parts. 2 Insincere had a troubled comebacker January 11 … like the top two, he runs with a price on his head now.

RACE 4

3 Pams Okey Man figured to need that comeback start … his small-stable trainer Flores knows how to win ‘em. 9 Blazin Arrowm failed in his FQHRA Derby trial … still maybe he had an excuse as he broke through the gate. 4 Rbd Eyes For King is a trouble-prone filly making her 8th start … she has a shot at the minor awards in here.

RACE 5

1 Salt Point Bay runs for the first time since last November … “new face in town” trainer Gaytan gets O Reyes. 4 Data Legacy makes his 3rd start of the current meet … trainer Sacramento Chavez moves to Raul Gutierrrez. 3 Jumpn Jax also starts for the third time this season … the gelding will need to get his act together for a win. 660 YARDS 4 Eyesa Shoofly Dandy just missed in the Orange Blossom at 550 … expect him to be tighter this time around. 8 Jmf Shazoomer got the best of ‘Dandy in the Orange Blossom … don’t expect to see 12-1 odds on him today. 1 Kjr Tocaille won smartly around Hialeah Park’s “big hook” 9 days ago … the gelding has a shot to win again. TALLAHASSEE STAKES

RACE 7

220 YARDS 1 El Macho Prieto Boy won The Speedball and scratched out of The Signature … count him in as a big player. 4 Llano Cartel came back to win after finishing second in The Speedball … maybe be gets the best of it today, 2 Spit Curl Daisy finished behind the top pair in The Speedball … the mare should be in the thick of it again. BISCAYNE STAKES

RACE 8

250 YARDS 4 Shez a Hot Valentine pitched a fit in the gate and was scratched from the Derby … watch how she is acting. 8 She Looks Racy stumbled at the start and still won the Mockingbird Stakes … if the top one falters, maybe. 3 Coming And Going has been off since last summer … the filly was competitive in her last two in Louisiana.

RACE 9

8 One Way Flight gets a major rider switch for her third of the meet … leading rider Omar Reyes gets a leg up. 2 Quick And Bright likely needed that early January outing … a little move forward will give him a shot to win. 7 Nd Sheza Fast Dash lost all chance at the start on New Year’s Day … she’ll need to run straight this time.
