RACE ONE DAILY DOUBLE- 1-4 PICK-5- 1 w 4 w 4,6,7 w 1,4,10 w 1,5,6,7 1-JESSE’S PROMISE…seems to be able to go first up and grind until she gets the job done. Same scenario here. 6-SAILER EDDIE…dips down from top class. Probably on the engine as he almost won 2 starts back that way. 3-GOLDSTAR CLASSIC…current form is sharp and is always in the thick of the fray. Versatile and consistent.
RACE TWO 4-SKYWAY PIPPEN…has excellent brushing power. Just needs to use that sprint when it counts to score here. 9-IMPRESSIVE CHIEF…outside post, yes, but on occasion, has shown very sharp closing kick. Cover flow trip. 3-WING FLASH…steps up after wiring field in amateur event. Compares well with the rest of the competition.
RACE THREE 4-REAL TEMPTATION…used leaving then got breather before 2nd backside sprint. Nailed by pocket-sitter. 7-Y S JOE…showed very sharp pace on backside (:27.4) despite being bothered a bit. Catching cover last lap. 6-TWIN B TK…can blast of the wings. Looks like that same scenario here by leaving and yielding for trip.
RACE FOUR PENTAFECTA- (Box) 1,2,4,7,10 1-PILGRIMS ALL IN…get great trip in last, pulled into far turn but winner repelled challenge. Should be tight. 4-THE MUSCLER…has huge brushing power…needs to be timed right to be prominent (:28.1 3rd qtr. in last.) 10-KABU…second tier post, yes, but horse in front leaves so he should get away very nicely. On the ticket. 2-EL DIABLO ROJO…post hurt chances in last. Drew well and could be on a brush to the lead early here. 7-SELENA…wired foes in big efort last time. Looks like best scenario may be of the pace this time around.
RACE FIVE 5-HOLLYWOOD NIGHTS…made a bold quarter move in last then cut some healthy panels but out-kicked late. 1-HIGHLY SPIRITED…left in last then got shufed before finding room late to end the mile in a tie for first. 7-ASHLEY’S DESIRE…liked backside pace in last (:28.1) but trafc too much to overcome in the lane. Flies late. 6-SHADOWMISTY…seems like she wants to go back to the paddock around final turn. Fast, but an “ify” prop.
RACE SIX PICK-4- 3,5,6 w 1,6,7 w 2,6,7 w 1,6 3-GO JESSE GO…was a termite most of the mile in last. Hot property lately and now back down where he won. 5-BIG PACKAGE…lost composure early in last. Will be on the choo-choo leaving from this post. Dips a bit, too. 6-SMOKIN DABRA…actually race large in last showing early speed & then 2nd move during quick 3rd panel.
RACE SEVEN 6-WALTZACROSSTHEWIRE…former “4” can turn on the afterburners in the lane. Cover flow journey in here. 1-NICHOLAS RYAN…couldn’t seem to make up his mind on strategy in last–in, out, in, out. Rail keeps close. 7-SOGGY DOLLAR…vastly improved in last showing grinding forward speed on backside (:27.2) On ticket.
RACE EIGHT 7-ON THE TAB…liked that double-bubble move 5/16s out in last. Late kick could prove to upset applecart. 6-ADENIUM…wired foes in last of honest fractions. Probably on the bullet train here in tough warrior class. 2-FLASHY LADY…in new hands after sharp win in last showing backside blitz to take command. Very sharp.
RACE NINE LATE DOUBLE- 1-1, 1-5, 1-7, 6-1, 6-5, 6-7 6-NOMAD…post probably cost the win in last. Closed from many lengths back to finish third. Love late kick. 1-BUDDY HALLY…pulled second turn in last & forged forward until he got the job done as speed came back. 3-INCREDITABLE…kind of an “even-steven” efort in last but did show a bit of solid trot deep inn the lane.
RACE TEN SUPER HI 5 – 7 w 1,5,6 w 1,5,6 w 1,5,6 w ALL 7-PAIR OF DEUCES…paced final 1/2 in :55.4 and just did miss all the marbles in last. Turns on afterburners! 5-LILYS REAL BOY…came from out of the clouds to win last with late brush. Usually lolly-gags early. On tkt. 1-HARTATTACK…versatile sort took last from of the pace. Look for confident quarter move to the lead here. 6-SMITHERS…dented quick third quarter (his :27.3) to join the fray and stayed with the group late. Decent! 8-SANTANA BEACH…left like a rabbit in last to gain good spot early but no threat thereafter. Leaves & looks.
