Catches live cover. 2-THREE NEW DAWNS…showed sharp pace on backside (:27.) as whole field was close together. 7-VAN GUNDY HANOVER…posts have hindered in recent but can really run on afterburners late.
RACE TWO 5-MAJOR DEAGAN…gets major class relief here and showed strong backside pace in last. LIKE! 4-IDEAL CANDIDATE…in a bit easier here. Did get shufed a tad in last but showed good pace late. 6-IDEAL MAGIC…lolly-gagged back early, pulled final turn & showed some decent pace very late.
RACE THREE 3-DINNER GUEST…got perfect handling in last showing great gate speed & willing close. A warrior. 600K!!!! 2-COOL LIKE FIRE…spent last 5/16s double-bubbled with very strong pace to the wire. Can fly in the lane. 6-DANIEL SEMALU…probably on the choo-choo when the gate opens. Has improved greatly in recent starts.
RACE FOUR PENTAFECTA- 7 w 5 w 2,3,8 w 2,3,8 w ALL 7-ANDERLECHT…been bouncing up & down the ladder lately. Last just too impressive to ignore. 5-LITTLEBITACLASS…showing very stout pace at the end of the mile. Could upset with fast pace. 8-OFFICERNAGENTLEMAN…been hot property lately. Probably on the engine to get into the fray. 3-OH MY JOEPA…been exploding with late pace in recent. Drew well, from hot stable. Form good. 2-GOLDSTAR RAIDER…hazzzz more zzzzzs than a sleep-aid ad. Leaves, yields, but in deep here.
RACE FIVE 5-GRANDE SEELSTER…warrior can rough it on the bubble a long way. Recent form deserves a look. 4-FALL TOY…don’t let that 2 3/4 margin in last fool you. It was a TIE! Very sharp lately. Threatens. 3-HOPIESDRAGONINTHE DO…hampered by post in last but can rattle cages in the lane. Leaving!
RACE SIX PICK-4- ALL w 5,6 w 3,6 w 6 6-TERANADAWN…jumped up in the air last week but, once composed, paced final 3/4s in 1:22.4. 5-HILLYBILLY…could be on the engine from this post then yielding for garden trip. Can rock late. 4-WINYARD HANOVER…might have been a bit too patient in last but did show solid pace very late.
RACE SEVEN 5-ZAVAN…nice hint in last with sharp double-bubble move 5/16s out after being parked forever. 6-MIXED MEDIA..gets some class relief here after decent showing in last. Paced last 3/4s 1:25. 3-HOPETOBEFIRST…seems to be driven conservatively all the time. Would love to see a bubble!
RACE EIGHT 6-CULINARY DELIGHT…steps up here after a win but should be on the engine to control things. 3-LEGEND FIELD…showed excellent trot on backside in last (:28.2) and held firm to the finish. 1-ARIEL SALUTE…post hindered in last but came up with very strong trot turning for the money.
RACE NINE LATE DOUBLE- 6-5 6-STARLITE KID…gets even more class relief here after showing nice pace on backstretch (:26.4.) 1-KR’S POWER SURGE…in a significantly better spot here–class-wise and draw. Prominent here. 8-DRAIN DADDY…post doesn’t help but seems to be in easier after showing good pace backside!
RACE TEN SUPER HI-5- 5 w 2,6,8,9 w 2,6,8,9 w 2,6,8,9 w ALL 5-BEIGNET…got involved in very fast mile for class in last showing excellent pace final half mile. 2-MACH IT PAIDEN…not much on paper lately but gave hint showing good backside pace in last. 9-A FOOL FOR MARK…warrior just keeps chugging along. Will, no doubt, catch live cover final lap. 6-A WEEKEND…class and post hurt in last. Back down a notch & should show sharp speed leaving. 8-MYSTICAL VALENTINE…classy warrior cana still make an impression in the lane. Follows cover.
