RACE ONE EARLY DOUBLE- 4-4, 7-4 PICK-5- 4,7 w 4 w 1,6,8 w 3,5,7 w 4,5 7-ADO DUHARAS…pylon violation cost win in last. Won’t let that happen again this time around. 4-GRANDMA JAN’S GEMS…lightly raced filly has shown speed, manners & great closing kick home. 6-CHOCOUTURE…doesn’t win often but on the board very often. Always seems to be close up.
RACE TWO 4-STURGEON SEELSTER…showed decent gate speed in last and willing close. Compares very well. 5-REYS N A COMMOTION…had blazing gate speed in last & involved in blanket finish. Great spot. 6-FAST BILL…pulled turn 2 in last. 3d panel too stif to dent. As front speed waned, showed pace.
RACE THREE 1-SCIROCCO JAKOB…rail should help keep closer earlier. Can brush for prolonged period when given track. 8-KABU…gets some class relief here after showing good, strong trot final 3/8ths of the mile. Prominent!! 6-MAJESTIC WON…takes double-dip in class for this. Showed :27.4 backside trot in last. Catches live cover,
RACE FOUR PENTAFECTA- (Box) 2,3,5,7,8 3-ROCK MY BABY…not much on paper these days but seems to be out and trying. Compares well. 7-MAID OF SILVER…form not that impressive lately but liked double-bubb backside move in last. 5-INTERNAL CHECK…has great speed leaving to go along with coveted five post. On the engine. 2-GOLD STAR JESSICA…left, yielded and sat in garden seat all the way home in an improved mile. 8-WINNING SOLUTION…recent not much bot was, at least, out and trying on backside. Compares.
RACE FIVE 4-MASTER OF PUPPETS…after leader put up torrid panels, was flying late in the lane. Liked hint! 5-CLIVE HANOVER…seems to be a “bridesmaid” all the time, sane 1 win. Always in the thick of it. 2-DR FLAMINGO…stayed remarkably close during suicidal panels in last & involved in photo-3d.
RACE SIX PICK-4- 6,7 w 5,6 w 2,3,5 w 1,5,6 6-BURNT ON TOP…got so used to seeing him on front end that almost forgot he can close, too. 7-JET ER DONE…was dead-last al the way around during lightning panels & came flying too late. 4-STRONG PROFILE…very decent efort in last showing some nice pace on backside denting 1/4.
RACE SEVEN 6-THE LIFE OF PIE…got lucky in last when “winner” got DQ’d for pylon violation. Very sharp now. 5-BODY DOUBLE…post hindered in last but in a much better situation this time around. Threat. 7-ABES EARL…first start here served as good tightener. Showed a little something on backside.
RACE EIGHT LATE DOUBLE- 3-1, 3-5, 3-6 3-LANDONFRITZ…pulled on the backside in last and was grinding forward all the way home. Like! 5-FLASHY LADY…made two moves in last–one at start & second on backside grinding. Was game! 2-BIG PACKAGE…back up to “10s” where he has shown success in the past. Prominent from post.
RACE NINE SUPER HI-5- 1,5,6 w 1,5,6 w 1,5,6 w 2,8 w ALL 6-CEVINA DE CHAKRIKA…mare is very sharp and has handled this class the last two times out. 5-COUNTRY FRESH…consistent mare rarely throws in a clunker. Very versatile & on the ticket. 1-ROCK GROUPIE…not much on paper but expect a more aggressive drive from this post position. 8-FLASHY…liked the double-bubble move 5/16s out giving nice hint coming in to this event. 2-MS CASEY MAC…drew well again and looking for similar journey as last week’s winning mile.
