Yonkers Peek At Program- Thursday, May 16th

Some insights into tonight’s racing program for our IdaBet palyers:

1ST RACE – (4) STONEBRIDGE PEARL arrives from Pompano with just about three weeks between tries. Don’t know what she is or isn’t, but locals blank.

3RD RACE – (6) CHECKMATE HILL two-moved to the lead in last before tiring late as fave. Third consecutive six-hole, ought to be functional as any in here.

4TH RACE – (6) CHECKERED PAST has a past, and it’s a good one. Solid sire stakes performer with some open stakes tries season ago, should handle these.

8TH RACE – (1) ZOEEZ BOY HENRY makes second start after nearly three months AWOL. Went through motions in return, but appears useful in five places.

9TH RACE – (3) RICH AND MISERABLE figures nothing more than low-hanging fruit in here. We did find in final of Bonus Trot Series, loyalty gaze here.

10TH RACE – (6) ONE AND ONLY is not the commodity he used to be, but was 17 days out last local after migrating from Sacramento. Taken tighter in finale.

$2 +/- (thru Mon., May 13) – 107 wins ($653.70)
from 531 ($1,062) selex (-$408.30, plan to get even in Black-Eyed Susan)

highest-priced winner – MALNIFICENT ($24)
lowest-priced winner – SHEBANG N ($2.20)

A friendly reminder from Yonkers Raceway that Thursday evening’s (May 16th) Pick 5 wager starts with a carryover of $5,599.16 and a $15,000 guaranteed pool. The guarantee is in conjunction with the U.S. Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program.
