A friendly reminder from Yonkers Raceway that Thursday evening’s (Apr. 25^th) Pick 5 wager starts with a carryover of $6,712.86 and a $20,000 guaranteed pool. The guarantee is in conjunction with the U.S. Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program.

The Pick 5 is a 50-cent base wager comprising races 6 through 10 Thursday night. It has no consolation payoff, meaning if no one selects all five winners (as was the case Tuesday night), the entire pool (minus takeout) moves to the next racing program.

Race 2: 3- Count’s Chip – Was successful last time out and looks to strike again to start tonight’s Pick 5. 5- Marvelous Man – Has the ability to
be prominently placed on this ticket. 7- Always A Dream – Could make the ticket despite the poor post draw.

Race 3: 7- Stone In Love – Could be successful upon coming to Northfield. 6- Petra – Finished second last time out and could be the runner-up
again tonight. 1- Deans Last Dance – Could make the ticket from the rail. 2- Mighty Mini – Looks to be in the thick of the action.

Race 4: 3- Lawton Hanover – Could be victorious upon returning to the Flying Turns. 1- Make The Books – Should be tough from the rail.
9- Metalicana – Hershberger hands the lines to Merriman and looks for some results. 4- Sand Schooner – Has as good of a shot as any in here to
complete the Superfecta.

Race 5: 4- Friggun Biggun – Could be successful upon traveling to Cleveland. 1- Cayenne Kate – Looks to be in the thick of the action from the
rail. 7- Peties Chip – Looks to do well despite the poor post draw. 8- TT’s Preciouspixie – Could grab a piece of the action despite starting from
the far outside.

Race 6: 5- Rock To Glory – Drops in class and could be successful at this level...

Hump Day “Lock” is at Pompano Park on race 5 with the #2-Captain Thomas-In top form and will win tonight for top driver Wally Hennessey.
