Some insights into tonight’s racing program for our IdaBet.com players:
1ST RACE – (1) MOONLITEONTHEBEACH offered outer speed in latest despite 21 days out. If he left then, what minimal logic we have says leaving now.
2TH RACE – (2) CARRACCI HANOVER offered some late foot week ago from second consecutive seven-hole. Goes second off class dip, inside five places.
3RD RACE – (4) BUNGALOW BILL N found a way in Philly slop, finding way back here now. Anyone who can figure him out wins a prize, but offers value.
5TH RACE – (4) TOP FLIGHT ANGEL may join few of these foes in Harry Harvey Invitational next Saturday. This Saturday’s getaway is too good to ignore.
7TH RACE – (5) SOMEWHERE IN L A went backwards after first-up try in Harrington’s Quillen. Took it to house last try from this venue in local adult pace.
9TH RACE – (5) SWING CITY was at wrong end of the pool last number of tries, outclassed and outrun. Won last couple this level, albeit from pole both times.

Trainer Wesley Ward will send both Dragic and Fayette’s Warrior in the Futurity, giving the man with the well-earned reputation for dominating 2-year-old races a strong combination among the loaded field.
Steven Bell’s Dragic, the lone filly in the field, will make her fourth career start after debuting on grass last time out in the one-mile Kentucky Downs Juvenile on September 1. After setting the pace, she finished third after being forced to steady in the stretch. Breaking her maiden at Keeneland in her debut, the daughter of Broken Vow returned for a late summer start in the six-furlong Grade 2 Sorrento on August 5 at Del Mar, breaking slow before finishing fourth.
“Prior to going out to California, I breezed her on the grass at Keeneland and it was an eye-opening breeze,” Ward said. “Her pedigree suggests no turf at all, but if you watch her moving over the grass, she’s certainly taken to it. She had a very valid race in California. It turned out to be a really quality field. She was a little compromised at the break, she got away a step slow, and was down there on the inside, which is something that mine aren’t used to, and she still only got beat a length for second.
“She’s pretty quick, pretty handy, she’s got some nice racing experience and I think with the cut back in distance, she’s going to be tough anywhere she goes,” he added.
Today’s “Lock” is at Batavia Raceway: Race 9 #1- Rita’srockinheaven -Has the Rail and speed rating t wire this bunch-Ray Fisher Jr drives.
Last “Lock” won again! Howard’s record now stands at: 286 of 464 wins with 86 seconds and 26 thirds.

Some insights into tonight’s racing program for our IdaBet.com players:
1ST RACE – (2) SGT PAPA DADDY goes down claiming ladder to level of last win. Has to get around polester, set up shop behind one to immediate outside.
2TH RACE – (5) LEAN HANOVER is from the same good folks who bring us Marion Marauder. This one has primarily a big-track resume, tread cautiously.
3RD RACE – (2) OZONE BLUE CHIP went through motions first start after two months away. Moves inside, has to stay within hailing distance of pylon fave.
4TH RACE – (5) LONE RAIDER does rid himself of three consecutive six-holes…for a five-hole. Intrigues leaving claimers and may work against this gang.
6TH RACE – (1) FROST DAMAGE BLUES makes just fifth ’18 try. Lass was quite good when last here, slipping out behind tiring leader, finishing second.
9TH RACE – (2) ALL ABOUT MADI did us a solid with a ‘peeked,’ first-up win in last. Though then was post relief, so we stay with free ride and better draw.
