Yonkers Raceway’s entry box Monday afternoon (Aug. 20^th) offered up 3-year-olds—four colts and four geldings—for the 64^th Yonkers Trot.

The entry box also found 11 3-year-olds—eight colts and three-geldings—for Messenger Stakes No. 63.

Thus, the second jewels of their respective Triple Crown find the Trot as a ‘one-dash-for-the-cash’ event, while the Messenger has a pair of $40,000 eliminations races this Saturday night (Aug. 25^th).

Race 4: 2- Wegoferdaprize – Draws into a race where several could win; this one gets the slight call over several others to get
the job done in here. 9- TT Tucker – Looks to be tough in here if she minds his manners. 7- Muscle On Broadway – Could add
value to the ticket. 3- Monarch Baur – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.

Race 5: 3- Higgins – Drops in class and looks to be successful at this level of competition. 7- Gibbs – Looks to be tough in here
despite the poor post draw. 1- Lunatic Fringe – Looks to be a solid contender from the rail. 2- Western Captive – Draws well

7TH RACE – (3) PURRFECT BAGS is out 26 days for her first visit of 2018. Local stakes-winning lass has never been in this dirt cheap, gaze despite stale date.
