As you, our IdaBet.com players already know, Hialeah Park’s 2015-16 live Quarter Horse racing season, the 7th since racing returned to this iconic South Florida landmark in 2019-10, ended Monday February 29.  What we thought you would want to know is that Hialeah’s meet ended with record-breaking wagering numbers both on-track and through all-sources simulcast wagering.

Over 39 actual days of competition, with races from the cancelled card on Monday February 1 added to cards late in the season, the all-sources handle totaled out at $15,587,616. That figure topped the previous season high of $13,913,073 –set over 40 days of the 2014-15 meet– by $1,674,543.

On track, local horseplayers and visitors from around the world wagered a total of $1,548,190 through the wickets at Hialeah Park, topping last season’s $1,412,733 sum by $135,457.

RACE ONE EARLY DOUBLE- 2-7, 5-7 PICK-5- 2,5 w 7 w 1,3 w 8 w 1,2,7 2-CASHCO…been giving continual hints in recent. Versatile and could pick the right strategy here. 5-ON THE TAB…not afraid to gulp air when given room to roam. Cover flow trip could be danger. 8-INCREDITABLE…wouldn’t be surprised if he was on the engine this time to get into the fray.

RACE TWO 7-THE MUSCLER…swept up into contention on backside & wore ‘em down in the lane. Right back. 2-DOMINUM DEO…tried backside move in last into :28 quarter. Simple cover flow makes ticket. 1-WELL CONNECTED KID…raced very well in Amateur event in last. Drew well and fits company.

RACE THREE 1-ROCKNTOUCH…on a bit of a roll lately and fits this company with NW6 clause. Like right back from rail. 3-CRUIZIN K C…tried cutting the mustard in last. Likes of the pace much better & can brush with best of ‘em. 5-SEEK THE DRAGON…pulled around final turn & was gaining on leader when ran out of racetrack. Danger.

RACE FOUR PENTAFECTA- 8 w 1,2,5,9 w 1,2,5,9 w 1,2,5,9 w ALL 8-NICHOLAS RYAN…current form is extremely sharp. Post hinders bit but will be on engine early. 9-GORILLA...

RACE 3 1 Eye Zoomin was beaten at 20¢ on the dollar, but got the win via DQ … his cagey conditioner can win races! 8 Jess for Kaylee has been stalled at this level for quite some time … maybe the rider chance to Amaro helps? 3 Lethal Dynasty was a beaten fave, but did improve on the drop … his trainer/jockey duo is finishing strongly.

RACE TWO 4-MASTER HOST…can be dangerous here if minds manners. Showed nice backside brush in last. 1-IMAHONKYCONCHMAN…in the most amiable situation he has seen in quite some time. Leaving! 3-PC’S WILDCARD…probably on the engine here and then yielding for the garden journey. On tkt.

RACE THREE 4-SAVE THE DATE…marched up pacing middle half in :56 in strong efort.
