      ARCADIA, CA (Feb. 15, 2025)— With no winning tickets in Sunday’s $2 Pick Six at Santa Anita, a carryover of $34,288 will be up for grabs Friday on a nine-race card that will be run exclusively on dirt. There is also a double carryover of $64,308 in the $2 Sunset Pick Six, which combines the final three races at Santa Anita and Gulfstream Park.

First post Friday at Santa Anita is 12:30 p.m. PT. The Santa Anita Pick Six starts with the third race at 1:35 p.m. Track officials estimate the total Pick Six pool will exceed $250,000.  

      Helping to trigger the carryover on Sunday was longshot winner Jaguar Jon, who scored at 13-1 in the opening leg and paid $28. He was ridden by Cesar Belmont for trainer Andy Mathis. The consolation payout Sunday for tickets with 5-of-6 winners was $506.60.

      The winning horses in Sunday’s Pick Six starting with the fourth race were #5 Jaguar Jon ($28), #3 Zagreus ($8.20), #8 Savannahs Big Girl ($9), #5 Pura Vida Princesa ($12.40), #1 Man O Rose ($4) and #8 Captain Choochies ($8).
