Hialeah Selections for Friday, February 5th

IdaBet is pleased to offer Hialeah selections by “The Ace” John Hernandez for Friday, Feb 5th.  Let us know if you have any questions or need more information, we are here to help!

Thanks for choosing IdaBet.com

RACE 1

5 Southern Snow Storm shortens up and drops in class for this test … a repeat of his January 23 race wins it! 6 Adrinni finished 3rd at this level in his last start … the gelding should be set for his best in his 3rd of the meet. 2 Etta Chicks makes her second career start for the top trainer/jockey duo … she figures right in the thick of it.

RACE 2

6 Lika Me Blue is back in a $7,500 claimer after an allowance try … the 10YO won a marathon here last season. 3 Game Own gets a new rider for his second start of the meet … it’s been a while since this gelding has scored. 2 Mr Rubicon failed against allowance-level runners first out against winners … thus he is dropped in for a tag.

RACE 3

2 Columbia Crest has discovered “the Fountain of Youth” this season … the 10YO goes for his 3rd straight win. 5 Jmf Shes Inseperable beat $5,000 foes here on January 10 … she figures right in the thick of things again. 6 Beyondtheprize tumbles down the class ladder for his 3rd of the meet … maybe the drop will give him a shot.

RACE 4

2 Jf Royal Glory shortens up after a near miss at 440 yards … the mare definitely has “the speed to lead” this. 7 Pyc Flyer makes his third start of the meet … Delgado stays on and this one needs only a little improvement. 5 Ib Flyin hasn’t shown much in two starts this season … that said, the 3rd race in a form cycle is often better.

RACE 5

9 Chicolini runs now for Yoani Abreu, who will handle the Almanza horses … the gelding figures strongly here. 6 Secret Moon Landing probably needed her comebacker January 11 … she should be tighter this time around. 5 Eye Flingo had trouble in her first off a layoff on...

Turfway Park Selections by Bret for February 5, 2016

IdaBet.com is happy to offer our valued IdaBet players Turfway Park’s selections by Bret Battaglia for Friday, February 5th.

Good luck at the races and have a great weekend everyone!

Thanks for choosing IdaBet.com

Race 1

ARUSHINGCHILL comes in off a nice win here at Turfway against similar in her second start back form the layoff and is the choice for the win. PROM THEME drops in class and looks like the one to beat. JUDSONPRETTYGIRL didn’t show much around two turns last time out and returns to sprinting tonight.

Race 2

CAHOKIA makes her first start since being claimed by Baez in early December when she won impressively in her first attempt on the Turfway Polytrack. A return to that form should make her a winner against a short, but well-matched field. IZZAEVEN has also been off since early December when she won against similar here at Turfway. She gets in light again today with Wright and is a definite contender. WILD CARD HIT comes in off a nice win in her first start over the Polytrack and would be no surprise here.

Race 3

FIDDLELINA ran a nice second at this same level in her last start and looks like she’s in a good spot to pick up the win today. DANUBE RIVER finished just behind the top pick a few starts back and is a threat. MEAGEN’S HOLIDAY has a chance.

Race 4

SUCKER PUNCHED ran a nice second behind an impressive winner last time out in his career debut. He should move forward off of that one, give him a slight edge to pick up the maiden win here. HOWLING WOLF has been second in three of his four career starts and is the one to beat on the move in for a tag for the first time. HIGH DRIVE didn’t show much in his debut, but drops in class and picks up Jimenez.

Race 5

FUJITA FIVE was second best at odds on last time out on the drop in class. He figures to be a short price again today, but still looks best here with Jimenez keeping the mount. T C’S LUV was a...

Race 1: 6- Aisling – Drops in class and could be victorious in tonight’s opener. 2- SM’s Terminator – Has the ability to be prominently placed on the ticket. 1- Harmony Legacy – Looks to be in the thick of the action from the rail. 9- Master Wheels – Could be a factor from the second tier.

Race 2: 5- Royal Finale – Was a beaten favorite in his most recent effort but could prevail for his backers this time around. 6- Bupa Brusier – Could do well upon coming to Northfield. 2- Toys Legacy – Made the ticket last time out and could be right there again tonight. 1- Simply Rockin – Could be in the thick of the action from the rail.

Race 3: 4- Booyah TJ – Posted an impressive qualifier and could be successful again tonight. 5- Jesmach Chester – Made the ticket last time out and could be close again tonight. 7- Sir Kensington – One of several in here that could complete the ticket.

Race 4: 1- Ray’s Western – Draws the inside advantage and that advantage could be key to being successful tonight. 8- West River Tex – Could do well in here despite starting from the far outside. 3- Do It Docs Way – Should not be overlooked as a solid competitor in here. 7- Full Circle Spirit – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.

Race 5: 3- Chamboro As – Looks the best in here if he minds his manners. 8- Hangin Judge – Looks to have the ability to do well in here despite starting from the far outside. 2- Market Timer – Makes his second start off a qualifier...

Race 1

MI ERMANA TINA ran a decent race last time out coming back from a layoff since May. She figures to move forward off of that one and is the choice for the win here. SPEND AND SPREE showed some improvement in her second start back from the layoff. She has five wins over the track her and looks like a contender. KAABOND was third against similar last time out and would be no surprise here.

Race 2

FAMOUS JAMEIS moves back down in class to the same level where he was second two starts back. He picks up Jimenez tonight, give him a slight edge to pick up the maiden win here. PHILLIPS BEST DAY has been second in three of his last four starts and looks like the one to beat. CRITICAL SUMMER shows two solid efforts in his last two starts and looks capable of winning here.

Race 3

ALWAYS LOVE APRIL drops in class after two even efforts in her first two starts over the track. She shouldn’t mind the move back around two turns tonight and should be able to pick up the win here. TUCUPITA is inconsistent, but has beaten the top pick in the past. MY REGENCY LADY hasn’t shown much recently, but has to be considered on the drop in class.

Race 4

PARK WALK drops in class after an even effort in his debut and looks like he’s in a good spot to pick up the maiden win. BANSHA has been off since early December when he was a close third at this same level in his first start over the track. REVANCHA ran a decent race in his debut and should move forward tonight.

Race 5

COTTON EYED JOSIE might need a race, making her first start since April, but she broke her maiden against tougher on the grass at Gulfstream and could...
