RACE 1 1 Dash For Number One makes his 3rd start of the stand for trainer Randy Weidner … perhaps this is the day. 2 Sustainable has been sidelined since two September starts in Texas … her connections are tough down here. 3 Mister Swagger James made the FQHRA Derby, bot was no threat … this will be the lowest level he’s tried.

RACE 2 10 Dp Corona N Lime ran well in his seasonal debut … the 9YO gelding can win if he moves forward off that one. 3 Kryptanite scored as the 3-2 fave at 250Y on January 17 … he’s jumped up a level and will get a new jockey. 4 Kalifornia Quick makes his 3rd start of the season for Matt Frazier … he came up empty as the favorite 1/10.

RACE 3 6 Leave You Streakin is a 5YO who was competitive at 50-1 in his first start … he’s got a shot if he repeats that. 4 Jess A Little Wicked got close in his $5K start on January 4 … Luis Guerrero takes over for Yordanis Amaro. 7 Kisses Alluring returns to action for the potent Kearl/Vallejo duo … tab the tote to get some clues on the filly.

RACE 4 3 Blushing First Down was overmatched in her FQHRA Derby start … thus her connections run her for $10K. 7 Dark Chocolet is a California shipper who has not raced since last summer … maybe she’ll fit well with these. 9 Jess Strong is another Kearl/Vallejo runner to consider … like the top horse, she came up short in the Derby.

RACE 5 6 Hiclass Attraction might have a shot for her initial win with the added distance … she was gaining late 1/3. 8 Wart Speed ran evenly in his comebacker January 8 … the question will be whether or not he moves forward. 7 The Wise Oak ran decently on January 2 … if the filly can improve off that comebacker, she’s got a shot here

RACE 6 4 Matchstick Man returns to action for “new face in town” trainer Gaytan … her runners have been competitive. 3 Rappalo finished 2nd but was DQed to 9th on January 24 … his connections won 2 races on 1 day last week. 9 Eyecatchyn had trouble in his comebacker on January 11 … don’t be surprised to see the gelding run better.

RACE 7 4 Fire Bound won at the NW3L conditions here January 17 … give him a big shot to make it two straight wins. 8 Jk Hard Times makes his 3rd start of the current session … the Kenny Laymon trainee hasn’t won since 2014. 2 Guess Who Drew was no threat in a sloppy track run on January 22 … better conditions might move him up.

RACE 8 6 Jewels Gal shortens up and gets leading rider Omar Reyes … if the mare can break better, she has a shot. 5 No Ordinary Chick is a 7YO first timer for trainer Roger Salazar … she’s been working decently for this one. 7 Ipolita makes her 12th lifetime start here … she’s knocked at the door before, but she’s never broken through.
