RACE ONE EARLY DOUBLE- 3-1, 3-5, 5-1, 5-5 PICK-5 – 3,5 w 1,5 w 2,3,6 w 6 w 3 3-COLUMBIA LION…recent have been solid in same class. Pulled on backside into quick panel. Patience pays off this time. 5-BERKSHIRE…post did hinder a bit in last but still trotted middle half in :59 grinding away. Needs live cover & fast pace. 1-LG’S PRIDE…takes a bit of a class dip, has the rail and great gate speed to keep cozily close throughout. Dangerous here.
RACE TWO 1-SUE’S YOUR BUDDY…never did see the inside part of the racetrack in last and hung in there gamely late. Class dip, too. 5-KEYSTONE KRISTA…left looking in last but no-go & had to gulp air all the way. Improved post here & could be on engine. 6-MIGHTY NICE…gave mighty nice hint in last showing strong pace final 3/8s. Dangerous off live cover and quick panels.
RACE THREE 6-SARASOTA NATIVE…lightly raced five year-old seems to be developing some talent. In a very appetizing situation here. 2-KDMAKEWAY…fought hard every step of the mile in last and nailed right at the wire. Probably on the engine & yielding. 3-NOUDIDNT BLUE CHIP…thought he might turn out to be a bit tougher than he has shown but, still, in amiable situation.
RACE FOUR PENTAFECTA – 6 w 1,2,3,7 w 1,2,3,7 w 1,2,3,7 w ALL 6-SANDYSGOLDENHOUR…made a sharp and confident quarter move to the top but quick panels took toll late. Has edge. 2-VIRGINNAIRE…showed nice brushing power backside in last (:27.2). Should be nice & tight now & can rattle cages late. 7-MACHIN MARLEY…spotted field too many lengths early on in last but can’t ignore that she paced final 3/4s in 1:25. 3-SHADOWMISTY…Looks like Richie has this headstrong mare on the right track. Speed galore. Just has to have manners. 1-SINSPIRATIONAL…buzzed out of the gate in last, got some cover after yielding & stayed very close in a “blanket” finish.
RACE FIVE 3-WILD WANDA…was doomed by post in last (2nd tier). May have a bit of a class edge in here and must respect in here. 8-ALL CHARGED UP…probably on the engine from the get-go from this post to get into the fray somewhere mid-pack. 1-CAM FUNNY…made bold move on the backside in last and kept grinding to the wire. Took short lead late, then nailed.
RACE SIX PICK-4 – 4,5 w 3,4,6 w 5,6,7 w 1,4 4-MISS DOLLAR MAM…got picture perfect journey back of pacesetter in last, pulled final turn and wore her down to win. 5-SOPHIA SEELSTER…has gate speed but been lolly-gagging back early in recent. With post & class, should be on engine. 1-PACIFIC DATE…been sharp as a tack for lengthy period. Probably leaving alertly, maybe yielding then the quarter move.
RACE SEVEN 4-FUTURISTIC BRIDE…went down the road in lifetime best performance in last. Looks like the same strategy this time, too. 6-C R AMIGO…not much on paper these days can swallow loads of air and in an amiable situation. Could be large price. 3-TYMAL RECAP…made uncharacteristic miscue leaving in last but prior have been very solid. Drew well and compares!
RACE EIGHT LATE DOUBLE- 5-1, 6-1, 7-1, 5-4, 6-4, 7-4 5-BODACIOUS BECKY…stepped up from “6’s” to “10’s” with no problem and went mile of her career, to boot. Right back. 6-DIAMONDS PRINCESS…can turn on the afterburners in the lane. Dangerous off of live cover and, especially, fast panels. 7-VOLUMINOUS…probably on the choo-choo train leaving to find a spot closer up to the front. Very dangerous when on.
RACE NINE SUPER HI-5- (Box) 1,3,4,5,7 4-PALM BEACH…dips into lowest of the “Open” classes for the girls. Took lifetime mark just weeks ago & must give look. 1-LOVE LIVE LAUGH…showed some decent backside pace in last (:27.4). Dips down a notch, has rail and should be on tkt. 5-ASHLEY’S DESIRE…opened our eyes with brilliant final quarter in last. Can really rock & roll when given room to roam. 3-SUE’S NIGHT OUT…had picture perfect journey following very quick panels in last and was in four horse blanket finish. 7-SKYWAY DUSTY…”even-steven” performance in her last but did show some decent pace in deep stretch to the finish.
