Northfield Park Selections for March 9, 2016

Race 1: 7- TA’s Avance – Draws into a race where several could win; this one gets the slight call over the others in tonight’s opener. 9- Wallstreet Bailout – Should get a good trip from the second tier. 3- Sure Thing – Looks to be rounding into better form. 4- Zorgwijk Mercedes – Should not be overlooked as a potential competitor in here.

Race 2: 3- Wolf Creek Pegasus – Was a winner last time out and could strike again tonight. 8- Bupa Brusier – Looks to do well in here despite starting from the far outside. 7- Nothinglikeadame – Another “outsider” that could make this ticket. 9- Tawa Road – Looks to be tough in here if he minds his manners.

Race 3: 6- Fort Commander – Was the beaten favorite last time out but could prevail for his backers this time around. 5- Screamin Dreamin – Drops in class and looks to be tough in here. 9- Neely Spring – Should get a good trip from the second tier.

Race 4: 7- Communicator – Drops in class and looks to be successful at this level of competition. 3- Bonner’s Creek – Lanny hands the lines to Aaron and looks for some results. 5- Major Speed – One of several in here that could make the ticket. 9- Dusty Dunes – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.

Race 5: 4- Im – Finished second last time out; could step it up and get the job done tonight. 5- Echo’s Pearl – Drops in class and looks to be tough at this level of competition. 9- Foul Ball – Another class dropper that could be tough in here. 8- Moma Jean’s Crown – Could grab a minor share despite starting from the far outside.

Race 6: 9- Onemorelastchance – Drops in class and looks to be the best in here. 7- JP Orazio – Could be right there despite the poor post draw. 1- Jet Set Style – Could be tough from the rail. 8- Real Samart – Should not be overlooked as a potential competitor despite having post 8.

Race 7: 1- Hangin Judge – Was a winner two starts back and could strike again tonight. 4- Buckwild – Looks to be tough in here if he minds his manners. 9- Chip’s Halloffame – Could add some value to the ticket. 3- Hoosier Cat – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.

Race 8: 2- Best Dream Ever – Drops slightly in class and receives the top-call to start tonight’s Pick 4. 1- Hop Zip – Could be tough from the rail. 4- Midnight Dragon – Was a winner last time out but faces tougher competition this time around.

Race 9: 4- Green Acre Lollypop – Draws into a race where several could win; this one gets the slight call over the others to get the job done. 6- Student Nurse – Another with a big shot to do well in here. 7- Hooray USA – Could add value to the ticket. 9- Mr Fix It Elwood – Looks to be in the thick of the action from the second tier.

Race 10: 5- Camcruiser Hanover – Has been second two races in a row; looks to step up tonight and get the job done. 9- Our Mclovin – Should get a good trip from the second tier. 7- Jimmy Rip – Could do well in here despite the poor post draw. 1- Santa’s Special – Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.

Race 11: 2- Beautiful Red – Made the ticket in at least six starts in a row; could lead that ticket tonight. 4- No Way Blue Chip – Made the ticket in all three of his most recent races and looks to be right there again tonight. 3- Hard Cold Cash – Should not be overlooked as a solid competitor in here. 6- Toy’s Legacy – Looks to be in the thick of the action.

Race 12: 2- Tory – Draws into a race where several could win; this one gets the slight call over the others to get the job done. 9- Detailer – Should get a good trip from the second tier. 1- Dartmouth Hall – Looks to be tough from the rail. 8- Carolina Jacob – Could garner a minor share despite starting from the far outside.

Race 13: 6- SJ’s Blissful Guy – Was a winner last time out and could strike again tonight. 8- Dannys Atthedance – Looks to do well in here despite starting from the far outside. 5- Second Thoughts – Could open some eyes tonight at big odds. 3- Blackbird Singing – Looks to be in the thick of the action. 1- Winter Cruise – Could garner a minor share of this 20¢ Super High Five.
