ATASCADERAN (Los Alamitos Thoroughbreds) broke out, bumped at the start, losing -2 lengths, quick in stride, dueled inside one rival around the 1st turn, gained the slim advantage near the far turn (46.14 opening half), drifted out 4-wide entering the stretch, tired understandably at midstretch at one mile.
