RACE ONE EARLY DOUBLE- 1-4 PICK-5 – 1 w 4 w 3,6,8 w 1,3 w 1,2,4,5,8 1-MR WIZARD…(Jaime Bassa-130 life wins). In a bit easier, has the rail. Liked backside brush in last. Bassa won here 2015. 2-WITTY’S WINNER…(Dein Spriggs-412). Hampered by posts last two starts. Showed strong trot final 3/8s of mile in last. 6-VACATION DAY…(Johann Preinling-27). Lolly-gagged early in last, showed :29.1 backside trot in quick mile for the class.

RACE TWO 4-MIGHTY NICE…(Michael Gutsche-235). Been giving hints lately with strong closing kick. Second over trip dangerous here. 7-COUNTRY FRESH…(Andrea Fazekas-135). Ms Fazekas driving a warrior with 51 life wins. Can rattle cages in the stretch. 3-HEAD FIRST…(Danny Blakemore-32). Comes into the action off of strong winning performance. Won at Cal-Expo in 2011.

RACE THREE 3-CHIP CHIP PAGE…comparatively, fits this event like a glove. Showed some backside spunk two races ago (:28.4). Edge. 6-RUN AROUND SUE S…comes up with a monster effort once in a while. Will be on the bullet train when gate leaves. 8-FAMILY COURT…went up in the air in last. Has gate speed to overcome post. Could be prominent if minds his manners.

RACE FOUR PENTAFECTA – 1 w 3 w 4,6,7,8,9 w 4,6,7,8,9 w 4,6,7,8,9 1-MAJOR DEAGAN…was used VERY hard early in last and stayed close to a very hot pace until deep stretch. Like the spot. 3-LYONS JOSEPHJNR…pulled turn two in last and paced :27.2 backstretch quarter before faltering. Should be tighter here. 4-SIR JAKE’S Z TAM…first start back was decent. Tried backside brush but tough to gain on :26.4 quarter. Can threaten. 9-McGREAT…post hinders, yes, but can reach for some of that back class, follow live cover, and “make” the pentafecta. 7-IDEAL CANDIDATE…burst out of the gate in last and then yielded into a “suicidal” opening half. On the engine here, too.

RACE FIVE 8-OUT OF THE HAT…(Ivan Serik-143). Dips into very enviable situation. Must be on choo-choo early to make it happen. 4-GIMME THE LOOT…(Nils-Olav Holm-171). Never saw the inner part of the track in last. Been in deeper company lately. 2-PLAY FAIR…(Michael Gutsche-235). Warrior seems to be able to gulp a lot of oxygen. Look for cover flow entire last lap.

RACE SIX PICK-4 – 3,5,6 w 1,6 w 2,3 w 2,3,6,7,8 3-DEE’S ROCKETMAN…reliable for that :28 closing kick at the end. Usually on the move from turn 2 all the way home. 5-I’M A GIFT…probably on choo-choo train from the get-go. Lost two photos in recent—one on engine, one from pocket. 6-ONLYTHETUFFSURVIVE…paced an “even-steven” mile in last ‘til the top of the lane then showed very strong pace late.

RACE SEVEN 1-SORRENTO HALL…actually went strong mile in last while grinding forward from start to 16th pole. Rail keeps cozily close. 6-REL CASH CLOWN…pulled under the wire first time & went forward the rest of the journey in a nice effort w/fast panels. 2-GUILFORD…half million dollar winner couldn’t overcome 2nd tier post in last. Classy warrior up front this time around.

RACE EIGHT LATE DOUBLE- 2-6, 3-6 3-SUMTHINTALLNSTRONG…was in very deep last time and cut some wicked panels before faltering late. Better spot here. 2-TERANADAWN…has electric gate speed and may try the wiring act here, as well. Lot depends on if he can decent rating. 1-STARLIGHT KID…does step up after good effort in last but has tried this class before and has hit the board. Rail helps.

RACE NINE SUPER HI-5- 6 w 2,3,7,8 w 2,3,7,8 w 2,3,7,8 w ALL 6-ST PETE STAR…rugged warrior won almost as much himself as the rest of them here. Question is whether he needs start. 3-FLY AWAY…seems very versatile and looks to follow some live cover and use that reliable kick home to be prominent. 2-YUMA HANOVER…showed good speed at both ends of the mile in last. Could be leaving, then yielding, then closing late. 8-HAYDENS LITTLE MAN…seemed in over head in last and got shuffled on backside. At least was out and trying far turn. 7-VAN GUNDY HANOVER…was used early in last and faltered in the lane. Seems to do best work from off the (fast) pace.
