RACE TWO 2-DALEY’S MASERATI…lightly raced filly beginning to learn her lessons. Showed some spunk final three-eighths of the mile. 4-CHEEKY LITTLE MINX…pulled on backside while wending forward and denting decent 3d quarter for class. Liked the hint. 7-ROYAL MOXIE…went a decent trip for first start off qually. Looks to be improving as the stakes season up north nears. RACE THREE 1-LICKCREEK FRANCIS…not much on paper but pulled turn two & backside panel too tough to handle. Patience from rail! 3-KDMAKEWAY… made confident quarter move to the top in last that paid off. Look for similar strategy this time around. 8-ASHLEY’S DESIRE…mare has the outside but can catch live cover and turn on the afterburners when it counts. Danger! RACE FOUR PENTAFECTA – 5 w 1,2,7,8 ALL THE WAY 5-VARI FORGEIFUL…dips to a very appetizing situation & has beneficial post. More than half of lifetime wins on the engine. 2-GUILFORD…made couple of moves in the International and was caught in the final stride in very good effort. Improves. 1- LILY REI…had a very difficult journey in last vying for the lead but no-go. Rail should keep cozily close throughout mile. RACE SIX PICK-4 – 1,5,7 w 1,3,8 w 2 w 4,6,9 1-SANTANA BEACH…Hmmm. Tough call here. Dipping from much higher classes but now suspect off last mile. Very “iffy.” 5-RED STAR TOMAHAWK…in new hands after sharp performance in last showing excellent early speed & folding well late. 7-WESTERN LEGEND…made a couple of moves in last. Gate speed leaving & out again turn two and grinding. Cover flow. RACE SEVEN 1-CELTIC MERCHANT…warrior has drawn well and could be on the prowl early with a quarter move to the top. Dips here. 3-WITTY’S WINNER…post hurt in last but showed excellent trot in the lane. Fits very well with these & is threat for all. 8-M C FELIX…drew outside (again) but could be on the engine trying to get into the fray. Warrior going after 40th life win. RACE EIGHT LATE DOUBLE – 2-4, 2-6, 2-9 2-CEVINA DE CHAKRIKA…back down to spot where she has been dominant last three starts in same class. Very versatile. 3-RUTHS SHADYLADY…had a very difficult journey in last while parked the mile & bothered a bit in the lane. Better trip. 4-HEAD FIRST…tried higher class in last but faltered after showing early foot. Last time in class went huge mile. Leaving. RACE NINE SUPER HI-5- 9 w 1,4,6,7 w 1,4,6,7 w 1,4,6,7 w ALL 9-KEYSTONE RAPTOR…recent claim tried “5’s” in last & gave it a good whirl on backside. Now, back down to “4’s.” Price! 4-CLIVE HANOVER…seems to give decent performance in this class. Drew well and will catch live cover. Still a big threat. 6-DR FLAMINGO…showed excellent gate speed in last settling in close up. Mile just a bit too much to do damage. On tkt. 7-STRONG PROFILE…went courageous journey in last after pulling on backside & grinding foes into submission late. 1-MODERN DAY CLYDE…recent have been decent! Can turn on the afterburners in the lane & rail keeps much closer early.
