RACE ONE

3-ITALIAN STALLION…was on the move under the wire first time and showed strong trot mid-mile. Dips to very advantageous spot here. 4-TYMAL RECAP…very strong grinding forward effort in last and didn’t quit until he hit the wire first. Stays put in same class, as well. 7-MYSTICAL SHOPPER…probably on engine here. Mare tends to be somewhat of an “on and off” performer. Which one shows up????

RACE TWO

1-SPAGHETTI EDDIE…does step up a couple of notches but can’t ignore last performance from outside post. Getting very sharp now. 4-SPINFINITI…dips down from Open class to amiable spot here. Tough to spot foes that many lengths early when mile is in 1:50.1. 3-ALONEINSPADES…been very sharp in recent events. Very versatile and could be on the bullet train early then yielding for cozy trip.

RACE THREE

7-GRANDMA JAN’S GEMS…very impressive showing in debut. Could be on the choo-choo train early to control the festivities in here. 6-KATCH KANNA…despite slow pace early on, grinded forward entire last lap to get the job done. Will be interesting to see faster pace. 3-LISA ON TOP…gave a bit of a hint in last showing forward momentum 3/8ths in to top of the lane. Can “make” the ticket off cover.

RACE FOUR

PENTAFECTA- 5 w 1,2,7,9 ALL THE WAY

5-GROOVEY KID…rare form these days. Kind of hard to handle but, once he gets going, he’s tough to stop—even in the winner’s circle! 2-WING FLASH…got shuffled a bit in last start but did show decent trot in the final stages of the mile. Compares very well in this field. 1-INSIDER ACCESS…didn’t get the cleanest of starts from the second tier in last. Move to rail should keep much closer to use late kick. 7-STARBUX EDEN…tough mare loves to be in the thick of things from the get-go. Should be on the bullet train when game leaves depot. 9-GOOD FEELING…tough 13 year-old warrior approaching 300 lifetime starts and trying to get to $500,000 off of 54 career wins. On tkt.

RACE FIVE

2-COOPERS BEACH…don’t usually go for non-winning qualifier on top but can’t ignore fact that he paced final half in :55.3. Can upset. 9-BREES CREEK…takes precipitous drop in class here after earning checks in top class twice. PP9 hinders but half of wins on the engine. 1-IDEAL MAGIC…takes second class dip since arrival, drew well and dented quick 3rd panel in last (his :27.1). Figures to be competitive.

RACE SIX

PICK-4 – 5,7,8 w 1 w 1,5,7 w 3,4,8

5-TOOTSIE BI…not much on paper these days but had horrendous journey in last & was all over the track final 5/16s. Can upset on best. 8-BODY DOUBLE…compares nicely against this group—even from the outside post. Not afraid to gulp some air if given room to roam. 7-CULINARY DELIGHT…probably on the engine here securing a close up journey. Just needs clear sailing turning for home to hit ticket.

RACE SEVEN

1-NEXT THING SMOKE’N…went huge mile in last & was gaining on Bandolito late while pacing his mile in 1:49.4. Rail keeps cozily close. 8-STARLITE KID…was in a difficult situation in last spotting leader many lengths early in a sub-1:50 mile. Showed :26.4 backside quarter. 6-TERANADAWN…showed sharp gate speed in last securing cozy spot, then was shuffled before finding seam in lane with good pace.

RACE EIGHT

1-CAROLINKIA…was very careful leaving in last to avoid the dreaded “list.” Pulled turn 2 and showed nice m”oo”ve 3/8s out. Upsets. 7-DONATO BABE…was unable to use usual early speed in last from PP7 but gave slight hint of better things to come on backside. Fits! 5-SUPER SHEFF FROSTY…Sometimes on…sometimes off…depends on which Frosty shows up. If right, has ability to be high up on the ticket in here.

RACE NINE

LATE DOUBLE- 3-4, 4-4, 8-4 4-FALL TOY…been hot property lately and form is very sharp. Just missed in last showing strong pace final lap. Look for 2nd over trip. 8-LONG TERM…can rattle some cages with his stretch surges. Outside post means he’ll be seeking live cover entire last lap. Fans wide. 3-ENERGY SHAKES…in new hands for this so stepping up. Was involved in very quick mile in last but did show sharp pace from the final turn to wire.

RACE TEN

SUPER HI-5- 4 w 9 w 1,5,8 w 1,2,5,7,8 w 1,2,5,7,8

4-OFFICERNAGENTLEMAN…very sharp right now & on roll with four straight wins. Lifetime best effort in last was extremely impressive. 9-MR MASSIMO…9 post, yes, but has speed to overcome. Look for this warrior to be on engine from the get-go looking for good spot. 8-McGREAT…paced third panel in :27 denting fast quarter but just too much traffic to overcome. Classy individual can wake up here. 1-ALL STEINAM…was patient leaving in last and too patient on backside when he got shuffled. Showed stout pace late & dips in class. 5-DINNER GUEST…rugged warrior needed a couple of starts to get tight. Going for 50th lifetime win & closing in on $600,000 lifetime!
