2-DE VALERIA…giving a hint or two in recent races. Last 2 showed good pace on backside (:28.3 in each). Drew a bit better this time, too. 6-SMOKIN N GRININ…key might be start here. Could be “smoking” early & “grinin” late as 32 of her 34 lifetime wins on engine early. 1-DELLA BEA…been very sharp lately. In new hands for this, drew rail & stays in same class as last week when she finished good second.

RACE TWO

4-IM AN ART MAJOR…liked backside pace in last (:27.2)—just in a bit too tough. Dips back to NW2 & can turn on the afterburners late. 1-SING BIRD SING…went grinding up forst over in strong effort last start. Should be cozily close the entire route with decent gate speed. 3-POKERFACE…always performs well in this class but seems to lack the “killer instinct” to go get ‘em in the lane. Still, on the ticket here.

RACE THREE

2-SEALARK HANOVER…been showing very powerful brushing power in recent, especially last when used :27.2 blitz to forge into lead. 3-MISS DOLLAR MAM…steps up a notch on the ladder after strong showing against “6’s.” Last half in :57.3 very impressive grinding. 4-TAIL R SWIFT…decent effort in last—just not quite aggressive enough. Can rattle some cages off of live cover in the lane. Threatens.

RACE FOUR PENTAFECTA- (Box) 1,2,4,5,7

2-ALLIE’S DRAGON…huge effort from second tier post in last. Pulled under wire firsts time, followed cover then nice m”oo”ve backside. 5-DOJEA MAIDSCAPTOR…post and heavy traffic hurt chances in last but did show some solid pace on the backstretch in last. 15/1?? 4-REYS N A COMMOTION…very sharp pace (:27.4) during third panel and hung in there in the lane. Second over journey is dangerous. 1-BURNT ON TOP…probably on the engine here from rail and, at worst, yielding and re-taking on a quarter move to control the action. 7-ALL AMERICAN MAJOR…rugged warrior relishes this class and not afraid to gulp oxygen when given room to roam. A factor in class.

RACE FIVE

3-TYRONE SHOWSTOPPER…an easy and impressive winner in this identical class last week. Looks like same strategy in store this time. 4-MYSTERY XPOSED…had very tough journey in last bobbling early on then hung out to dry thereafter. Has some gate speed & dips!! 1-FUTURISTIC BRIDE…not much on paper these days but gave a slight hint in last showing some decent trot on backside. Rail improves.

RACE SIX PICK-4 – 4,6 w 3,7 w 3 w 2,4,8

6-HOLLYWOOD NIGHTS…recent form looks sharp. Big backside brush in last to take the lead but couldn’t quite sustain all the way home. 4-HIGHLY SPIRITED…got patient handling in last—maybe too patient—but found a seam in the lane and was flying late to just miss. 1-HOT CHICA BOOMBA…back in action after scratch—SICK—but drew rail and seems to perform competitively in this class. Threat!

RACE SEVEN

7-SINSPIRATIONAL…performed better than expected against this class in last & was getting to the winner late. Can rattle cages late. 3-TAYLOR B SWIFT…brushed up first over, took command around final turn and held on tenaciously late to win. Excellent recent form. 4-SKYWAY DUSTY…show strong pace on backside in last on an “off” track. Is reliable for a strong final panel. Seems to be versatile.

RACE EIGHT

3-SOUTHWIND TRINI…was drafted along in last but not quite ready for 1:51.3 mile. Dips down to much more amiable situation in here. 4-ART FRENZY…been kind of pacing “even-steven” miles against toughest class but getting checks every start. Should relish class dip. 5-JETS ARE ON…recent have been very decent performances against this same rugged company. Compares well against other foes here.

RACE NINE LATE DOUBLE- 2-2, 2-3, 2-5, 4-2, 4-3, 4-5, 8-2, 8-3, 8-5

4-PALM BEACH…steps up after gutsy performance on the engine in last surviving “suicidal” pace to hang on valiantly. On the engine. 2-ASSET MANAGEMENT…chased winner home in last in decent effort but forced to step up a notch on earnings. Close up throughout. 8-GOLDSTAR ROCKETTE…post hinders a bit but can rattle some cages turning for home. Looks to catch live cover entire last lap here.

RACE TEN SUPER HI-5- 2,3,5 w 2,3,5 w 2,3,5 w 1,4,6 w 1,4,6

3-TIDEWATER TOMAHAWK…went first up on backside but third panel was a bit too stiff & came up empty after. Giving another chance. 2-FLAK JACKET…not what he once was but, when on game, can still open the eyes with fierce brush. Hoping he brings his “A” game. 5-DR FLAMINGO…warrior was out turn two but couldn’t dent quick panel on backside. Has coveted post and could be on the engine. 7-PUT IT IN GEAR…blasted out of the gate in last and had the garden journey but early efforts seemed to take toll late. Leaving here. 1-BLENDED WHISKEY…post destroyed chances in last. Move to rail should be big help. Should be getting tighter now with this start.
