If he minds manners (a BIG “if”), should win. 5-JAILHOUSE LAWYER…starting to give hints. Liked backside brush in last (:28.4). Fits nicely here. 1-BAD ANGEL…lost touch with leaders on backside through very quick panels for class. Rail helps.
RACE TWO 6-GOLD SAVAGE…like for couple of reasons: 1) class dip; 2) dented quick 3d panel (:28.1) Wiring? 4-HOLD ON TIGHTLY…lost composure leaving in last. Performance back to Feb. 23 threatens here. 2-SKYWAY PIPPEN…not afraid to take air when given room to roam. Will be flying in the stretch.
RACE THREE 1-SANTANA BEACH…hampered by posts last two. Still, loved backside brush double-bubbled 3/8ths out. 4-NICHOLAS RYAN…puts in solid performances week-after-week. Might leave and yield for the garden trip. 6-TEX…will be on the bullet train when Hummer leaves. Question is, “Can he sustain it all the way to wire?”
RACE FOUR PENTAFECTA- (Box) 1,4,5,8,9 5-MAD COW LISA…mare has gate speed + the coveted 5 post. Class relief just may seal the deal. 9-ZORGWIJK IMPACT…warrior has tremendous speed leaving to overcome post & find good spot. 8-ILLUSIONSNDREAMS…yet another one that could very well br on the choo-choo leaving. Dips!! 1-ADENIUM…comes of nice win in 1:55.4 benefitting from quick early panels. Keeps cozily close. 4-CELTIC MERCHANT…amazing 13 year-old in great form now. Might have to be of the pace.
RACE FIVE 3-NOMAD…made uncharacteristic bobble early in last. Can fire up the afterburners in the stretch. 1-DOMINUM DEO…has the rail and, with of an aggressive drive, could wind up high on the board. 2-CASHCO…gave it up in the lane after cutting opening half. Leaves looking for cover early on.
RACE SIX PICK-4- 1,3,5 w 4,7 w 3,9 w 2 5-ALASKAN SEELSTER…giving solid hints in return here. Last, paced middle-half in :55. Edge here. 3-SOGGY DOLLAR…post hindered a bit in last but pulled second turn with pace all the way home. 1-WALTZACROSSTHEWIRE…been moving up the ladder with success and seems to be in the fray.
RACE SEVEN 4-NEEDLES AND PINS…not much on paper these days but has been in tough spots. Best can upset. 7-REAL TEMPTATION…figures to be chalk of of last week’s first-over game win in life best mark. 2-MAMBO ITALIANO…rounding into better form now. Can catch some live cover & sprint home.
RACE EIGHT 9-POINTE OF INQUIRY…post hinders, yes, but, of quick panels, can gobble up ground final half. 3-THE MUSCLER…recent have been extremely sharp. In new hands now & new hands are SHARP! 7-EL DIABLO ROJO…forgiving last miscue while on the move. Can grind forward a long, long way.
RACE NINE LATE DOUBLE- 2-4, 2-6, 2-9 2-PLAYIN FOR KEEPS…been hot property lately. Made bold, 1st-up backside bid in last. Good spot. 7-A LIST…tried “6’s” in last but no-go. Back down to the spot where he won with great handling. 4-TIM WHISKERS…been solid in every start in class. Can rattle cages in the lane of of live cover.
RACE TEN SUPER HI-5- (Box) 1,2,4,6,9 6-Y S JOE…has gotten into great habit of grinding forward “forever.” Follows live cover in here. 4-GRENADE SEELSTER…debut was no bargain last week but showed pace backside (:27.4). Hint. 9-SING BIRD SING…probably on the bullet train to get into the gray from outside post. Dangerous. 2-ALLIE’S DRAGON…post hinedered big time in last but did show excellent speed middle half. 1-WINDEMERE SHADOW…had excuses last four. Hint was on Jan. 30 line. Rail key to make ticket.
