#5 Always B Magic—makes his 2nd start back after riding the pine after 06/23. The job for young driver McCown will be to find the right helmet to follow at the precise time necessary.
#1 Indiana Cam—underwent a tough trip in his last start, and the #8 Americhi—shows us small track abilities that may be enough to conquer the poor post draw.
Race 2
#1 Mannys Too Special—won here last year as a 2 y/o and young pilot Henry has the advantageous rail draw. The 7/2 m/l animal shows small track abilities that should serve him nicely with this septet of 3y/o colt and gelding pacers.
#6 Dancin Fever—get the huge pilot upgrade to Miller, and is 11 of 20 in the win column in 2017.
#5 Ohio Larry—benefits getting Gingras here for Steck, and may surprise at the 8/1 m/l assignment.
Race 3
#1 Shake It Off Lindy—showed us 2 moves in his most recent start at Philly on 09/03. The talented young Zeron will steer for conditioner Antonacci.
#2 Moonshiner Hanover and #3 Andy M have Tetrick and Miller respectively to hit the underneath positions.
Race 4
#2 Official Delight —gets a huge driver upgrade to Miller, and looks to be the best of this group for conditioner Cox.
#1 Lovely Feelin and #4 Big Bad Arcster—both look highly capable and will be the ones to look at should our top selection fail to keep his long win streak alive.
Race 5
#1 Caprice Hill—gets Gingras, shows a good prep at the Meadowlands in her most recent, and the post draw is favorable.
#3 P L Jill and #5 Emoticon Hanover—are the most likely candidates to get this should our top selection fail. Emoticon Hanover races off a stale date, but is highly capable with veteran Dube doing the steering chores.
Race 6
#3 McSpidey—is a bullring track specialist, and #5 Smokin Willie is in can’t lose mode currently. Both should enjoy similar support at the windows.
#2 Aruba Al—rides a 3 race race win streak coming into today’s fray. Wrenn Jr. in the bike is a plus.
Race 7
#8 Mystical Rock—goes for his 4th straight win here for Wrenn Jr. and conditioner Schmucker. Looks to possess enough gate speed to overcome the poor post draw.
#2 Hard Cold Cash and #3 Chance I Might—with Brett Miller and Nisonger respectively are the logical choices to use in exotic wagering.
Race 8
#4 Official Star—picks up the premier pilot on the planet in Gingras, and will make a lot of noise for conditioner Steck in this bunch.
#7 Ogradys First Man—gets Wrenn Jr. and that is a huge positive pilot upgrade. The gelded son of the underrated sire Manhardt is Sam’s pick to use underneath for you exotic pleasures.
Race 9
#4 Rock On Creek—is the only one in here to have competed in the $250k OSS final at Scioto on 09/02. Red hot pilot Page scores his 1st of the day with this guy for the busy conditioner Brown.
#6 Coach Zuzek—gets the lauded pilot Gingras for trainer Burke to use underneath our rock solid top selection.
Race 10
#3 Letsallrock—is one of 3 in here to qualify for the big money OSS final at Scioto on 09/02. He was the public’s choice that night, but the front-end was no good that evening. Young Tyler Smith makes amends to his pop, trainer Jeff.
#2 JoJo’s Pet Rock, #4 Long Train Runnin, and #5 Dragonology—are logical choices to compete for the minor spoils in this group of 2 y/o colt and gelding pacers.
Race 11
#2 Seeing Eye Single—is 5 for 5 in his freshman campaign for trainer Burke. Kakaley up for the initial time on him today.
#7 Rockathon—was 2nd to the one listed above in the big money OSS final on 09/02. Noble steers as usual for trainer Dailey.
#1 Slick Mick—also competed in the race mentioned above and was a close-up 5th to earn a check for Wrenn Jr. and Brown.
Race 12
#3 Drunk On Your Love—won the 3 y/o colt and gelding final at Scioto on 09/02. The altered son of previous Jug competitor Forclosure N then race in the Jug Preview and was a credible 4th in there. The best here for Noble and trainer Pollock Jr.
#2 Lightning Onmyfeet—has the talented young Wrenn Jr., and was scorched from the 8 post in that OSS final in a 26.2 opening panel. The 2 post draw will suit him much better here.
#1 Scotch McEwan—has the rail, was 3rd in the OSS final, and has his usual pilot Sutton between the shafts for trainer Dailey.
Race 13
Has Sam in a quandary. The 1, the 3, the 5, the 7, and the 8 can all make good cases to enjoy victory today. Good luck.
Race 14
#4 McRaven—is the 3/1 m/l fave choice of the trackman, and Sam sees no reason to dispute it.
#2 Cams Valentino and the #6 McLucky—get positive pilot upgrades with Gingras and Miller respectively, and are must uses underneath for exotoc considerations.
Race 15
#3 Rockin Away—is 4 of 5 in his freshman campaign, and has won twice with Page who will partner with him again today. The best in here.
#4 Bounding Dragon and #5 Gotarocketinmypocket—are the ones we see having the best chances to fill the underneath positions for exotic play.
Race 16
#5 Downbytheseaside—goes for his 4th straight here in the Jug for Sears and Brown. The millionaire seems poised to grab honors in the 1st heat here.
#1 Funknwaffles—gets the rail, and “Captain” Corey Callahan and could surprise many with a solid effort.
#3 Fear The Dragon—is a question mark after lameness last month interrupted his schedule. Sam thinks he might be too rusty to justify his millionaire status.
Race 17
#4 Rosemary Rose—gets Gingras, and looks to have the small track abilities that will serve her well in this. Her last 2 starts were dismal, and must be overlooked if you want to support her.
#3 The Lady Vanishes and the #6 Pistol Packin Mama—are the ones we see as logical contenders to get there if our top selection is no good.
Race 18
#6 Barnabas—was 4th in the OSS final, is the 5/2 m/l choice, and simply looks better than his 7 foes it his one.
#1 Ron’s Pro and #2 Mr McDreamy—should nicely fill the underneath positions for your exotic play.
Race 19
#4 Rosa’s Touch—was 3 in the OSS final, and seems deserving of the 2/1 m/l assignment by the trackman. Kakaley steers for Burke.
#1 McTravisty, #2 Hula Shuffle, and #3 U Doit B B—get Miller, Gingras, and Sears respectively, and seem logical to complete any exotic wagering you are considering.
Race 20
