Some insights into tonight’s racing program for our IdaBet players:
1 ST RACE – (5) AMERICAN VENTURE has poor win log over past couple
of seasons and generally overbet. That said, may find himself getting towed into it.
2 ND RACE – (2) SUMATRA was quite good at both ends in last, one of four
coming out of same added-distance event. Remains at max aptitude level, so gazed.
3 RD RACE – (1) CATCHA LEFTY A did slap bottom-of-barrel foes after he
was ‘peeked’ in local return. There’s back class here, this level not above element.
4 TH RACE – (5) LONG TRAIN RUNNIN’ did serve notice upon arrival that
he can go with these. Well back into swift three-quarters, then closed with interest.
5 TH RACE – (1) CAVIART REAGAN is difficult to ignore getting this sort
of class/post relief. Rarely had shot to leave gate, can’t see him squandering pole.
7 TH RACE – (3) FIREBBY N is not the lass we’ve seen here previous tries,
but intrigues this level. Obviously had issues, evidenced by just 11 th start of season.
8 TH RACE – (3) ALEXIS FAITH is same as fifth-race nod, as in rare inner-
half getaway. Solid, two-move second to runaway in last, can’t surmise value now.
9 TH RACE – (2) SHEZALLAPPLES A is a lass we’ve four-eyeballed recent
tries, always acquitting herself well. Could not reach from third-over six days ago.
11 TH RACE – (1) ANNIE HILL takes another crack at her elders, this time in
half-dozen places. A fringe stakes player, seemingly sufficient for gang in finale.
$2 +/- (thru Tue., Oct. 15) – 260 wins ($1,572.40)
from 1,172 ($2,344) selex (-$771.60, ethics beyond reproach)
highest-priced winner – BOINGANATOR ($43.80)
lowest-priced winners – RICH AND MISERABLE/
BROOKIE’S PRINCE N ($2.10 each, shrewd)
