Some insights into tonight’s racing program.
1 ST RACE – (4) MISTER DAYTONA N seems to be much engaged when
put in play early, something he was not in last. Same venue this time around, so…?
2 ND RACE – (2) MELADY’S MONET offered some good late trot second
off two-month bench. Among several adult-table refugees, eying Goodell double.
5 TH RACE – (5) MODERN REFLECTION steps away from those high-end
claimers into mid-condition event which may be within pay grade. Rivals bit light.
6 TH RACE – (2) MAC’S JACKPOT raced his two eyeballs out after a four-
eyeball in last. Out the mile against lesser, good venue in blind draw adult return.
7 TH RACE – (2) TIGER BARON found the porridge too hot in last few tries
against demonstrably better. Hard to go against with a class dip into mundane field.
8 TH RACE – (1) GUNPOWDER N is no stranger to these words of wisdom.
Draws the pole for third time in last four tries with explicit instructions to go scoot.
10 TH RACE – (6) PRAIRIE PANTHER was quite good in lane week ago, a
race where front didn’t come back to him. Did take coin then, draw no prize again.
11 TH RACE – (5) REBELLIOUS was equine sacrifice into shamefully-slow
first half. Stablemate of 10 th -race nod, appears formidable in hard-to-figure finale.
$2 +/- (thru Tue., Oct. 1) – 247 wins ($1,486.10)
from 1,111 ($2,222) selex (-$735.90, available on both DVD and Blu-Ray)
highest-priced winner – BOINGANATOR ($43.80)
lowest-priced winners – RICH AND MISERABLE/
BROOKIE’S PRINCE N ($2.10 each, shrewd)
