4TH RACE – (4) PLAYIN’ THE PONIES has been hooked into trio of swift miles since arrival. Moving up ladder without winning usually no-no, but we nod.

5TH RACE – (5) WESTERN PASSAGE tries it second-time Lasix and facing much less than what whipped him. Was 17 days out before local bow, tighter here.

7TH RACE – (5) IDEAL CLASSIC gets needed dip down restricted ranks in here. Competitive last time in these environs so earns tepid nod in return to same.

8TH RACE – (4) NOX VEGAS BLUECHIP has been off-site-source tabbed despite losing 42-of-43 races past two seasons. Board-certified in three of last four.  

9TH RACE – (6) SUMMER SIDE is one we’ve stalked in last few, each time showing enough to keep us returning. Pocketed behind tiring leader eight days ago.
