4TH RACE – (2) PAINTED LADY is out of stakes competition for first time in quite a while. Well-placed to appreciate that fun factoid, so we can’t go past her.

5TH RACE – (4) YOU SAID IT has been racing well up at wooden Nichols, arriving here with trainer change. Guessing that resume ought to translate to these.

7TH RACE – (8) WHO’S BETTER offered no leave, then tight quarters, then rallied too late when ‘peeked’ in last. Obstinate to fault, try from behind eight-ball.

10TH RACE – (6) ROCKIN’ IN THE HILLS tries level tougher eying repeat  in race that’s spiced up by invading ‘unrateable’ rival couple doors inside. Perhaps.

11TH RACE – (4) CAPOZZO returns to level of last win, returning to weekly gaze in finale. Mid-pack getaway does offer options, but generally prefers chasing.
