10TH RACE – (1) MACINTOSH N is sort of ‘have to’ choice after ditching a pair of eight-holes here and across river. Never terribly reliable, can’t ignore draw.

12TH RACE – (4) STARS ALIGN A has been chased by us last couple, with very credible efforts in both. Outsprinted from pocket in latest, works in the finale.
